Don't let the outside fool you.

The outside looked like an older Fl. style duplex, Inside was very modern, and finished nicely. Loved the style, and our dogs loved the fenced in back yard. Getting to the beach was no problem and there was a Publix and several restaurants in short walking distance. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again in the future. The owners were easy to work with as well.

Location, location and location

This is an older duplex about a block from the beach. The location is great, the rest of the property is kind of “meh” for lack of a better word. It has big white tiles for the floor throughout, the paint and furnishings are clearly whatever was available and older used furniture giving you the impression of garage sale stuff. Mainly I was disappointed in the queen bed, very uncomfortable and needs to be replaced. I didn’t use the twin beds but sat on them and they were ridiculous with noisy springs etc. The kitchen was without a working coffee maker so I bought one and left for the hosts next guest(s). The Keurig lit up but didn’t work. The fridge is new but no icemaker or water in the door…very low end. Also Formica counters are coming off the end of the countertop. The ceiling fan in the bedroom is an antique and didn’t work. Upon contacting the host she said you had to “ play” with the switches to make things work. Not good. Regardless, I’m not a complainer so I grinned and relaxed. The tv service is limited but the WiFi worked well. I love the beach, but wouldn’t chose this place again. 😎

Beach Getaway

The property is very nice and great neighborhood. The listing is not very accurate. The following items were NOT in the unit. Iron /ironing board Paper Towels Blow Dryer Shampoo I went to Walmart and purchased many of those items. The beds and pillows are very lumpy and uncomfortable. There is no Cable TV, just streaming services and WiFi. The patio out back was nice. We enjoyed having restaurants and the beach within walking distance. On our last day, my husband mistakenly went to the wrong unit next door and entered the code to our unit and was met by another renter. After realizing he had the wrong place, they figured out that both units had the same code. That was worrisome. I did reach out to Nathaniel (new property manager) and he told me they were not the same 🤔. At 9pm a young couple with a baby were trying to get into our unit. We opened the door and they told us they were supposed to be staying there that night. We felt terrible that we had to turn them away. I hope they found a place for the night. Despite all the issues, we made the best of our stay. Luckily, we have friends in the area and that helped make our trip a good one.

Overall good, but we did not stay at this location.

We did not end up staying at this location because when we arrived, someone else's stuff was already there. The host was responsive when I brought it to their attention and had a few additional properties close to this one available. This required us to move a few times to find a location with the same amount of beds that could fit our family. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but wish we could have stayed at this property.

We enjoy spending time with our dog, Compass, and watching our two sons revel in the great outdoors. Although we both have full-time day jobs, we are available to answer any questions you may have during your stay. We want to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
