We are located only 9 minutes from Main St in Fredericksburg, TX where you can enjoy shopping and wine tasting, 12 minutes from the Texas State Park Enchanted Rock, and only a short drive to the wine corridor.

This two bedroom and one bathroom cabin comes with a fully equipped kitchen for those who want to cook.

Armadillo Ranch is a 51 acre ranchette just 9 minutes from Main St in historic Fredericksburg. We are situated just one minute north of Boot Ranch and 11 minutes south of Enchanted Rock on RR 965.

By renting this quaint cabin, you can make everyone in the group happy! Take a day to play on the ranch and spend another browsing the shops on Main Street. Eat gourmet meals in town, hike Enchanted Rock, go fishing on property, enjoy the sunsets from your rocking chair, and so much more! Make sure to take a short drive to the famous Wine Road 290 and take your pick from the dozens of amazing Texas wineries breweries!

Fredericksburg is a friendly and vibrant community filled with wonderful culture and attractions for the whole family to enjoy together!

A starter supply of all paper goods and household necessities is provided, including:

Kitchen:
You’ll find the kitchen to be fully stocked with everything one would need for a fun weekend away, including a glass top stove, electric oven, retro refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, and the following:
• Dinnerware
• Flatware
• Coffee mugs
• Wine glasses
• Keurig and traditional coffee pot
• Kettle
• Cookware (pots & pans)
• Bakeware (small cookie sheet & muffin tin)
• Cutting Boards
• Blender
• Chef knives and steak knives

• Mixing bowls

SUPPLIES PROVIDED:
• Towels (1 towel, 1 hand towel, 1 washcloth per guest per stay)
• Bed Sheets
• Hand Soap

• Paper Towels (1 roll in the kitchen)
• Toilet Paper (3 rolls per bathroom)
• Blow dryer- located in the bathroom
* Shampoo/conditioner/body wash

Please bring your own coffee and personal toiletries like toothpaste, deodorant, etc. Guests will provide their own supplies after depleting the starter supply of these items.

Guest access:

By renting the The Roost at Armadillo Ranch you have access to two ponds and around 51 acres of land to explore. We do have a separate 4 bedroom 3.5 bathroom House that can be rented in combination with the house to provide more space and privacy. The guests at the House will share the 51 acres and ponds with The Roost, but you will have reserved private area around the cabin.
