The Space:
Our house is known as a “barndominium”.

In fact, it’s been featured in many barndominium publications (yes, that’s a thing!) because of its uniqueness and beauty.

The property offers a total of 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, industrial style house with modern appliances and a kitchen with all the supplies to cook for large (or small) groups.

- Fire pit. So much fun hanging around roasting marshmallows. We kindly ask bring your own supplies and extinguish any flames/coals after each use. *Must follow local burn bans when in effect*

THE PROPERTY:
Land: Roughly 20 secluded acres. You’re welcome to walk around the trails. Occasionally you might see cows, deer, and other wildlife on the property.
Parking: Lots of parking outside of the house.
Views: Property overlooks Enchanted State Park. Breathtaking during sunsets and sunrises.
Fire pit: Very fun to use! Please bring your own firewood supplies.
Running: We’re big runners. Running on the property is fun and relaxing! Take advantage!

Wi-Fi - because we’re in a rural area, WiFi is fine for a couple of devices but only OK if used by more than a handful of people. Most cell phones get great signal.

Marathon Ranch is located ~20 minutes from downtown Fredericksburg and only about 5 miles from Enchanted State Park.
Enjoy Fredericksburg’s historic downtown. Take in the German heritage by visiting the Pioneer Museum, sip some wine at the local wineries, shop along Main Street, explore Lyndon B Johnson State Park, pick peaches at an orchard, and so much more!

Getting Around:
Please bring your personal vehicle as this will be the best way to get around the countryside.

Other Things to Note:
*Please note this is a rural ranch property out in Texas Hill Country. It's common in rural areas to encounter wildlife that can include birds, reptiles, deer, or other local fauna.

Early check-in and late check-out are possible, subject to availability and with an associated fee.

This property has an unsupervised water feature. There is no lifeguard on duty.
Swim at your own risk. Please no glass in the spa area.

Pets allowed with fee. Not to exceed 2 pets. Please clean up after your animals.
