THE SPACE

As you walk through the front door of Retro Lounge, you'll see:
- a dedicated workspace
- a twin-size loft bed (age 6 and up)
- couch
- two GIANT LoveSac beanbag chairs
- a 60" Samsung SmartTV
- a retro-style dinette set
- art supplies and board games
- books
- Nintendo Wii U

There is a full (and child-friendly) bathroom with a vintage steel bathtub and Hookless shower curtain for an extra-clean touch.

You'll find the kitchen fully stocked free coffee and tea, all the essential tools and some bonuses -- like a Cuisinart ice cream machine!

The master bedroom has a West Elm queen-size bed with a plush 12-inch 4Sleep memory foam mattress and four luxurious pillows; it is ensuite with a full bath (shower), a washer/dryer stack (free detergent), and plenty of space to unpack and stay awhile :)

Up the whimsical spiral staircase, you'll find a cozy loft with two full-size beds (memory foam), USB charging cord, and a supercharged bonus air conditioner.

Walk out onto the upper deck from the loft and enjoy some peaceful tranquility in two Polywood Adirondack chairs from Crate and Barrel.

Easy winding roads through this quiet community. Reserved parking and free guest spaces. While it's easy to walk around the resort to the playground, Lake Louisa, pool, shuffleboard courts, basketball courts, pickleball/tennis courts, you'll want to have a car for transport outside of the resorts (to the parks, beach, etc.)

Adorable oasis

We loved coming "home" after a busy day to flop on bean bags and chill. The 2 huge love sac bean bags were our favorite!! The big TV had various streaming options, and rotated out for better viewing from our bean bags :) Everything was clean, inviting, well appointed. The free laundry was an added bonus. It was quiet, cute, and comfortable.

Cute place

My three teenage boys and I had a great stay here. It was the perfect location for us, roomy, and cute themed. It was so nice to have access to free laundry machine/dryer given that we were traveling before and after this stop.

Clermont visit for family.

Rental was nice and very well stocked with all essentials . I would hav enjoyed being able to use pool after dark. After a busy day, it would be nice to take a swim.

Trail Riding

My daughter and I traveled to the Clermont to meet friends and enjoy the trails in the area. We had three days of fun riding our Me-Movers and Trikkes.

Hallöchen! I'm a near-native Floridian living in Winter Park, Florida.

My fondest memories of my childhood are all from family vacations! I've traveled a lot, and my favorite type of vacation is the kind where you can come home after a day out on the water or a theme park and just... chill.

I designed my two A-frame "Vintage Villas" to be peaceful places to recover after a day of fun and sun. They're also packed with entertainment, so staying "home" for vacation is fun too!

Oh, and since I grew up here, I know a TON about the Central Florida area (especially the places tourists haven't ruined yet ;-)), so please feel free to ask me anything you'd like as you plan your trip.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Retro Lounge is a one-of-a-kind funhouse where you and your family can create cherished memories -- again and again! It's fun to walk through the neighborhood with its winding streets dotted with large, stately live oaks. And fun fact: the vintage "vacation village" neighborhood used to be owned by Disney back in the '70s!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Feeling touristy? The theme parks and dozens of major attractions of Orlando are all between 20-40 minutes away -- so are the famous Orlando outlet malls.

The Olympic-sized lap pool is heated, and you have full access to the shuffleboard courts, basketball courts, playgrounds, pickleball/tennis courts, car washing station, and picnic areas.

Outside the neighborhood, you're close to everything -- there are massage, nail, and hair salons within FIVE MINUTES of the exit. You'll find gas stations, excellent local restaurants and bars, grocery and drug stores, cinemas, and all kinds of shopping nearby.

Fitness fan? There are yoga, barre, and kickboxing studios, along with classic gyms like Planet Fitness, all 10 minutes away or less.

Love nature? Lake Louisa State Park is a few miles up US-27, but you have private access to Lake Louisa right within the community... with perks like a grassy manmade beach, a fishing dock, and a picnic area with a charcoal grill. Swimming is allowed (watch for gators!) :) If you walk down the street to the left of the lake access and look for the Lake House sign, walk around the lefthand side to find a fishing dock with benches, easy water entry, and no grass, unlike the grassy picnic area. There is also a boat launch (prior booking is necessary to unlock it).
