Horrible!
First of, let's start with the good. I like that this place can accommodate my big family. And that is pretty much the only good thing.
At the gate check-in they didn't even have our name on the reservation but another family's name. We were not sure if another family was going to show up some time when we were there. The gate keeper just let us through anyways. Our check-in time was 4pm. We arrived at 4pm and noticed the housekeeper was still there. The house was a mess! She told us that it was going to take her another 30 mins to clean up. Looking at the mess we knew it would take more time than that so a couple of us helped her cleaned so we can get settled in since we drove from MN. It took us 1.5hrs to help her clean!! The house was so dirty, dusty and moldy. None of the sinks drained and the showers were disgusting. There were thick dust in the vents and on the ceiling fans. There were stains on carpets and dents in the walls and refrigerator. The sheets were stained and the comforters looked like they haven't been washed in ages. We were constantly cleaning during our stay. There were not enough towels for all of us, the housekeeper said she had to throw away 10 towels from previous renters. Anyways, when I brought this up to the Host they disabled the chat and did not pick up any phone calls. I contacted VRBO directly and they told me that the host booked the rental back to back so it was impossible for the housekeeper to clean on time. How is that our problem? Overall, nothing was resolved and the host never contacted me back. I reached out to VRBO directly again as I had not heard back from the Host and they pretty much told me that they cannot help me as this issue is to be resolved by the Host that never contacts you. Very unprofessional. Do not rent from this place.
