Our Single Family home/house is nestled RIGHT on a beautiful white sand beach, offering magnificent views of the Caribbean Sea. You just step off the big front porch right unto the beach. It s perfect for couples, families or friend getaway trips. The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to dine in or dine or on an island with some of the best cuisine in Central America/Caribbean. There are 3 pools & kayaks that our guests have full access to. There is also an onsite PADI dive/tour shop where every kind of adventure can be booked.

In addition to the two bedrooms, both having king size beds and full bathrooms with double sink vanities, there is also a loft with 2 extra long twin beds and a sitting area. The loft is fully air-conditioned and also has a ceiling fan.

The living room boasts a 50" TV set up with Roku. Wifi is free and works very well in our villa. Our kitchen has all of the modern conveniences including a dishwasher and a full size stove, stainless appliances and solid service counter-tops. We have a table and
six chairs in the kitchen.

We have two covered porches on our villa- one on the front facing the sea and the other one on the back of the home. The front porch measures 44 feet by 12 feet and the one on the back is 44 feet by 7 feet. The front porch has 4 lounge chairs, and a table with 6 chairs for outside dining. The back porch has a table with 2 chairs and a sitting area with a couch and coffee table.

For additional sleeping accommodations, there is a queen sleeper in the living room. Our home is concrete construction with all electric appliances.

Wonderful island and beautiful people!

Our accommodations were wonderful, very clean. And exactly as expected. Very relaxing and the information given to us by the owner after booking was exactly as described. The area restaurants were delicious Portofino and Metachia fantastic! A must go! Also the Bilizean Food Tour, wonderful a must. Secret Beach very welcoming and a nice experience.

Lovely place for a quiet vacation

The Sapphire Beach was exactly as advertised. The cottage (villa 11) we had was right on the beach with beautiful views of the water. Having coffee on the covered patio was wonderful. Swimming off the beach or dock terrific. The staff couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. Realistically, it’s a bit of a drive by golf cart into San Pedro but an easy one. Thank you all for a great vacation.

Incredibly Disappointed

While the property was very nice, the service was abysmal! The greatest problem was with the Gem Restaurant. On our final night, we decided to go to the restaurant, as they had gotten lobsters that day. We arrived at 5:00 pm and were never served our food until after 7:15. The lobsters offered were quite small and the waitstaff quoted a price of $50.00 US per lobster. Needless to say, we did not have those. When we arrived, we were the only diners in the restaurant. Still, it took us over half an hour to have our drink order filled. We had to repeatedly ask the waiter (Sergio) to take our dinner order. After that, a total of eight people came into the restaurant and ordered after us. All of their food came before ours. When the food finally came, my dinner was cold, and my husband found a wingless fly crawling around in his dinner. He sent it back to the kitchen, untouched and the waiter was singularly uncaring. At the end of the meal, we were charged for that dinner. Also, our drink glasses were never cleared and we had to take them up to the bar ourselves. After asking repeatedly for the check, we had to wait an additional 10 minutes for Sergio to bring the check, after he took another newcomer's order for drinks. After getting the check and letting the bartender (Luce) know of our dissatisfaction with everything, she said it was not her fault. I am frankly amazed that the owners of this establishment continue to be in business with such terrible staffing.

Quiet Get Away

If you want a stay away from the hustle and bustle, then Sapphire Beach Resort is it. Many days, it felt like we had our own personal beach. The staff is great, the food at the restaurant is fantastic, hard working folks cleaning the area every day. Maid service daily, the only negative is the trash that floats in on the north side of the island. Although the resort clean it up daily , what washes up on the beach, it was sad to see it all in the water.

My husband and I fell in love with the Caribbean 30 years ago and dreamed of owning a place where we could enjoy snorkeling, diving and beautiful tropical surroundings. After visiting Belize in 2008, we knew we had found our dream place. We love hosting guests so they too can enjoy the extotic beauty of Ambergris Caye and the friendly Belizean people.

Our villa offers the best of all worlds. It is a single family home that gives privacy and space so that our guests can really be comfortable and enjoy themselves. It is located in a beautiful resort so you have the conveniences of an onsite dive/tour shop and a wonderful restaurant that can be as casual as pizza and hamburgers or serve up the most delicious seafood dishes. You have your choice of 3 onsite pools, along with paddle boards and kayaks. We have fishing poles and snorkeling equipment for our guests' exclusive use also. Our front porch offers magnificent views of the Caribbean Sea and our back porch offers another area where you can just get away and read a book if you choose. Whatever you want to do, is available at our home- do it all or just relax on our front porch or on the beach watching the pelicans dive for fish and listen to the breeze blowing thru the coconut trees. Your choice!
