Stylish Victorian terraced house on a private road in the Oxfordshire market town of Banbury.
Enjoy the cosy living room with wood burning stove, the sunny courtyard, or a walk in the local countryside.
The house is an easy walk from the station and very well situated to visit Bicester Village, Silverstone, Aynhoe Park, Blenheim Palace, and the Cotswolds villages.
The station with fast trains to London, Oxford, and Birmingham is within 10 mins walking distance.
I spent many happy years living here as my sole residence and have been lucky enough to be able to keep the house as a retreat and a holiday let for others to enjoy. This house is packed with period charm, which we’ve carefully and sympathetically modernised. You have full access to the house and will find it to the standard of a well-equipped bed and breakfast without the awkwardness of feeling you're in someone else's house, as it is used solely as a holiday home.
There’s a brand new bathroom with a fantastic shower, wooden sash windows throughout, a Morris & Co tiled fireplace, and a bright courtyard garden.
The house isn’t child-proofed and may not be suitable for young children or those with limited mobility. The fire doesn’t have a guard and the stairs are steep without a gate. Please take this into consideration and feel free to ask me for more details.
NB - one or two pictures are from before I had the floors done. Wooden flooring throughout downstairs now!
The property has one parking space - but it’s not a very large one! If this might be a problem for you, please take a look at the photos in the listing and the reviews from my previous guests for more information.
