Super bright, spacious penthouse/duplex in the center of Madrid, fully exterior and provided with two private terraces, private parking and swimming pool (open from mid-June to mid-September). Ideal for travelers who are looking for a quiet place to rest at night but centrally located and within walking distance of leisure options. No hassle to get here by car as it is located outside the traffic restricted area called 'Madrid Central'.
The apartment has two floors. The entrance is through the lower floor, where we can find the kitchen (fully equipped), living room, a bedroom with 2 individual beds, a small terrace and a full bathroom with bath tub. The upper floor consists of the main bedroom with a 1,50m wide bed, another full bathroom with a shower cabin and a large terrace with breathtaking views of Madrid's sunset.
Guests will be allowed to leave their car in the designated parking spot in our private car park.
I am always available and willing to help my guests questions about the city and/or issues at the apartment, although they will have total freedom during their stay.
The vicinity where the apartment is located is a very quiet and peaceful residential area, ideal if you are looking forward to rest and relax during your stay, as there are very few businesses in the surrounding streets and traffic level is very low, hence silence and rest are totally guaranteed. But, in spite of being a quiet area, you are still in the city center so just a short walk away you can get some action. The Santiago Bernabéu area is just a 20 minute walk away and it provides a very wide variety of leisure options: shopping malls, restaurants, pubs, bars, etc. A bit closer, there are the Bravo Murillo e Infanta Mercedes streets, where you can finde multiple dining options - check out the apartment's guide for further info. If you'd like to go for walk and enjoy some fresh air, very close to the apartment you can find the Dehesa de la Villa forest and the Agustín Rodríguez Sahagún park, which offers public sports facilities and several children playgrounds. Very close to the apartment there is a Repsol 24h petrol station, several supermarkets within a 5 minute radius, convenience stores and pharmacies.
Being in the center of Madrid means enjoying great connections and the apartment's ideal location allows you to get here quite easily, leave your car in the designated parking spot in the building's private garage, and forget about it during your stay - you will not miss it. Multiple bus lines stop nearby and there are two different underground stations: Francos Rodríguez (line 7) 12 minutes away and Estrecho (line 1) 9 minutes away on foot; the latter will take you straight to Sol or Gran Vía in only 15 minutes. Of course Uber and Cabify offer their services in the city and you can use the same account you use back home. You can also use one of the several car-sharing (Car2go, eMov, Zity, Wible) or moto-sharing (Acciona, eCooltra, Moving) companies that operate in Madrid and forget about paying for parking on the street. Lastly, if you'd like to explore the city by bike, you can find a Bicimad station at San Germán street, 10 minutes away from the apartment.
I kindly remind guests that this is a very quiet area so parties and loud music are strictly prohibited at any time and it is very important to respect quiet hours (from 22:00 to 9:00) in order to avoid disturbing the neighbours. There is a noise detecting device installed in the apartment which sends notifications when a certain noise level is reached (the device only measures noise levels, it does not record conversations so your privacy is totally guaranteed).
- Silence hours are between 22:00 and 9:00, there is a noise monitoring device installed in the property (it doesn't record or submit conversations, it just measures noise levels). It is forbidden to unplug or disconnect this device.
- It is not allowed to celebrate any event, party or celebration in the apartment. In case this rule is not observed and a party is going on, we will immediately call the police, who are allowed to access touristic apartments in this situations.
- Access to the apartment is not permitted to anyone not included in the reservation and at no moment in time the maximum capacity of the apartment can be exceeded.
- It is strictly forbidden to sublet the property or any of its rooms.
- It is mandatory to comply with the swimming pool rules.
- Not complying with any of these rules will result in the cancellation of the reservation and all guests will be required to immediately vacate the property.
