From the moment you step into the open-plan living space at this Taupo accommodation you’ll feel instantly relaxed. Floor-to-ceiling picture windows fill the room with natural light, and bi-fold doors open out to your expansive deck offering that all-important indoor-outdoor flow.

Furnished for style and comfort, The Black Lake House offers everything you need to make yourself at home, including a fully equipped kitchen, Smart TV with Apple TV and Netflix, complimentary WiFi, and heat pumps to set the temperature just right.

Alfresco dining will be the norm on a summer stay. Imagine coming home from a day at the beach, firing up the BBQ, and tucking into a good ol’ Kiwi feast as you admire the incredible views. Pour a glass of wine and relax as the kids make the most of the huge, lush lawn.

The Black Lake House also has indoor entertainment covered with a recreation room complete with a huge corner couch, bean bag, pool table, table tennis table, and even a drinks fridge!

Four bedrooms comfortably sleep up to nine guests, with the huge master bedroom enjoying an ensuite bathroom, direct access to the deck, and those exquisite lake views. The remaining three bedrooms offer versatile bedding configurations, with a modern family bathroom completing the setup for your stay.

Taupo town is just a seven-minute drive from The Black Lake House. You’ll find plenty of shops and eateries, as well as activity providers who can offer lake sailing, bike tours, and more.

For something a little closer to home, Acacia Bay lake access and The Bay Bar and Brasserie restaurant are only one minutes drive, or five minutes walk away.
