Stunning Oceanfront Townhome in Ocean Dunes!

***As of March 9, 2024, the HOA informed us that they will be shutting down the indoor pool/hot tub area as of April 8th.
The work involves draining the pool (3 days); erecting scaffolding (1 full day) and then having the contractor come in and do the removal of the existing baffles and installation of the new baffles. The contractor estimates this could take 4-5 weeks to complete the phase of the work. Once the work is complete, the scaffolding will be removed; the pool will be filled back up, chemicals balanced and water re-heated. This takes a minimum of 3 days. They estimate the pool and hot tub will not be accessible until at least the second week of May if not later. All involved will do their best to ensure the work is done in as timely a fashion as possible, but there are factors that may be out of our control that could change the timeline. ***

The main level of "The Tranquility" features bamboo flooring, a recently updated kitchen with top of line appliances, dining area and living room. Wake up with a fresh cup of coffee and sit out on the oceanfront deck to watch the sea gulls play as the waves roll in (just remember to never feed the birds from any of the decks!) There is a bedroom on the main level that hosts a set of Twin bunk beds and shared full bath with a shower only. Upstairs you will find the oceanfront primary bedroom that has a Queen bed, full en suite bathroom with a shower only, and a oceanfront deck. The additional bedroom upstairs also has a Queen bed and a private full bathroom that has a bathtub. The washer and dryer are also located on this floor in the hall closet.

"The Tranquility" is located in the 1000 building of Ocean Dunes and the pool and gazebo are in between this building and the 1100 building,

Ocean Dunes is an ideal year-round vacation spot for families! Located at the southern end of Pleasure Island, in Kure Beach next to Historic Fort Fisher, Ocean Dunes occupies one mile of beachfront with several private beach walkways. Included with your reservation is access to all the amenities Ocean Dunes offers, as well as the Recreation Center. Amenities include three outdoor pools, a children's playground, tennis courts, a basketball court and a shuffleboard court. The Recreation Center has an indoor pool, whirlpool/spa, gym, saunas, and showers.

If you are visiting for the first time make sure you schedule a day at the NC Aquarium, or the Civil War Museum. Available Ferry Rides schedules time for you to visit the quaint little Ocean front town of Southport, where you will find little shops and plenty of antique stores. From Memorial Day to Labor Day bring the kids and drive up to Carolina Beach Boardwalk for rides, games and the famous Britt's Donuts, watch the fireworks on Thursday nights or the Free movie at the lake on Sunday nights. There is fun for all ages, so start making your memories today.

*Please keep in mind that if you are renting a property with a pool during the off-season, it may not be open or available. Pools are usually open from mid- May to September, but dates can vary based on weather, permits, HOA guidelines, inspections, improvements, and unforeseen events.
