Terrible guest experience, do not recommend booking with this agency.
The cabin is a decent place to stay but look elsewhere if you’re expecting management assistance should you need anything or run into issues. From the beginning, communication with the host was unresponsive getting back to us. The primary reason for us booking was for the hot tub and upon arrival it had just been emptied and would take 10+ hours to reheat, thus unusable for one of two nights. When politely reaching out to the Tahoe Rental Company for possible reimbursement they refrained from replying until after our stay was complete. Even so, it took several attempts to get response and action. We always got the run around, promised they’d talk with their GM and give us partial refund, ignored us for days and then finally gave us a much smaller refund than promised. One agent was downright rude and blamed the landlord even though they wrote & managed the whole listing.
Also, trash/poo bags from prior guests were overflowing in the bear box upon arrival. Be prepared to bring all your own amenities as they only provide liquid hand soap and 2 rolls of paper towels. The heating was wildly inconsistent, some rooms would be cold while others would be so hot we couldn’t sleep. One of the beds was so hard it hurt our friends back. Another had springs digging into our backs. The kitchen lights had mismatched bulbs so synthetically bright it felt like a CVS inside. It’s evident the Tahoe Rental Company is milking these properties at their upmost priority over guest experience. Avoid
