Bienvenue à Fawn Lodge. Cette maison de vacances rénovée et conviviale pour les chiens, Tahoe Vista, dispose d'un bain à remous, d'une cheminée à bois, d'un magnifique nouveau plancher et d'une atmosphère charmante.

Située près des rives de la baie Agate au lac Tahoe, cette maison se trouve également à un peu plus de 13 km de Northstar, en Californie, où vous pourrez faire du ski nordique, de la raquette, de la randonnée, du golf et des activités axées sur la famille.

Avec un style élégant d'inspiration montagnarde, ce lodge est équipé pour que toute la famille puisse passer des vacances reposantes et inoubliables. Jusqu'à deux chiens sont invités à vous rejoindre ici.

Détendez-vous devant un film devant la télévision ou devant une cheminée à bois. Socialiser parmi les pins sur la terrasse privée ou dans le bain à remous. Économisez de l'argent en préparant vos repas dans la cuisine bien approvisionnée.

Ici, jusqu'à huit personnes seront douillettes et heureuses. Dans la chambre principale, vous aurez un lit king-size. Une deuxième chambre contient un lit queen-size et une troisième avec deux lits superposés. Les deux salles de bains et demi permettront à chacun d’avoir un peu d’intimité.

first, we discovered that the garage door codes were incorrect. The the garage door codes were not in sync. We discovered that your bear Matt is not even connected Your car to your hot tub is incorrectly fitted and we could not find your chemicals. You asked us to use.The large couch is very uncomfortable, and we discovered that the frame for your pullout mattress is broken, and the whole thing is just sitting on the floorYou’re sliding door that leads to your back porch. That latch is extremely loose and didn’t always catch.Too many controls to operate your television it was very confusing, and your instructions were a little shaky on how to operate your televisionOne of the lightbulbs in the primary bedroom to the lamps is dead. The light over your stove is dead.I cannot believe how stained the mattress was and that you actually put pillows out without using pillowcases. Those pillows really should be replaced. They were very stained.No mattress pads on your mattressthere was some dust around the Hot Tub edge because it’s an improperly fit coverAlso on your back deck, there was a dog poop bag bottle caps, some trash that did not come from us. It could possibly be uncovered by the snow and as it melted, it revealed itself, but we don’t want to be responsible for that.In the master bedroom, there’s a television that doesn’t have a remote to operate itOverall, you have a beautiful home. The property is not maintained. The TV in living room was broken, the kitchen faucet is broken, the garbage can is broken, the beds are terrible. The couch is falling apart. There were no extra towels for tv hot tub, there were not extra towels for the kitchen in case something needed to be cleaned. There are buggers on the bathroom walls & dead flies on the walls. In summary - the house is gross.

This property was managed by Vacasa and I will never rent another property being managed by them. Our complaint was their lack on response to our issue. We contacted them multiple times about the green water in the hot tub. After their inability to send someone to assist or to call us back(we waited 3 days), we went to the local hardware store and bought chlorine so we could enjoy the hot tub for at least 1 day of our ski vacation. Other negatives: half the beds are uncomfortable, the couch has NO support, the TV has a blue tint, only one side of the toaster works and that side only toasts one side of the bread, the utensil drawer gets stuck and the faucet is always on spray. We at least had heat and each other.

Pros:Great location, really close to the lake and can see views from the end of the street. Immediate response from local property manager when we contacted them. Good layout and space in house. Hot tub really nice, hot and cleanCons:The furniture in the house is really old and needs to be replaced. Couch in family room has seen better days. All the beds aren’t comfortable and probably old mattresses. Downstairs bedroom has a huge hutch with two super old tvs inside of it that don’t work. Just taking up a ton of space in the room. The bunk bed room is smaller and no real storage space. The closet in that room has a massive old tv sitting in it that doesn’t work and just taking up half the closet. Upstairs bedroom again has a tv from the 70s… why?No A/C I didn’t see on the listing that the house didn’t have AC. Reached out to the manager and they informed us. Good thing it wasn’t too hot during our stay and we opened every single window in the house to let air in. Back patio has boards that are lifting that someone can trip on. Downstairs tile is lifting and another tripping hazard. Overall the house is a good house but it needs some updating for safety and renters comfort. Take out all the old tvs that don’t work and get some new furniture and this house would be 10/10.

Over all good some things are really outdated

Over all a good stay. need to fix the stairs. I cut my toe on something on the staircase. There’s some dirt and some other things that need to be cleaned up around the place. I feel like there’s not a lot of maintenance done around here but overall it was a good day.

Old- dirty couches and carpet

Unfortunately, this is the worse house we ever rented- the towels, blankets were all clean but the house had TV’a in the bedroom from the 60’s big boxes tv, the Cousy was filthy, we didn’t even seat in the living at all- the house is all furnished with very old stuff, no games, one of the bedrooms downstairs had a hole in the cealing and bugs were coming in and out. The carpet was dirty, unfortunately we paid to use all the amenities and we couldn’t do the stage of the house. Extremely disappointed - not sure why the management company will continue to take this house as a rental.

Great location, good for groups/families

We had a great stay here with our extended family over 4th of July. The house is in a central location- easy drive either way to Tahoe City/King’s beach and in a great neighborhood on a hill. The house layout is great for kids as the bunk room and extra room are downstairs and the master,kitchen, and living room are upstairs. The house can use updating for sure but it is functional and clean on arrival. Some issues we encountered in the kitchen- the bottom drawer of the dishwasher is not tracking at all so it’s hard to pull in and out. There is ample silverware and pots and pans but we could have used a few more kitchen hand towels and there were no larger serving bows for say, a big salad- so we used some of the larger pots. No big deal. Because of our family size we also could have used a few more bathroom towels and be aware that guests should come with their own beach towels. The hot tub was functional, the grill propane was depleted but easy to fill on our own. The rugs in the downstairs bedrooms could use a deep clean or replacement. And the upstairs deck has some nails that can catch a foot so we were careful to wear footwear on it. None of these issues was a deal breaker for us. The trash had not been emptied from the bear box before our arrival so we had to make a call to guest services and they picked up some of it ( but not all of it?) so we did have space for a bag of our trash. Despite some of the challenges we would consider booking this rental again.

Home needs work and Hot tub did not work

Despite reaching out two different times prior to our visit, to inquire about the hot tub working, and told YES, it was, it was not functional at all. We were provided with a small refund for this. The home truly needs a thorough cleaning, the smoke detector re-installed and some much needed TLC. Regardless that other reviewers have made the same comments-- the floors are still scratched, worn and dingy, main toilet runs, garage doors are bent and do not always close properly, boards on the deck are loose and the downstairs bathroom looks like they caulked over patches of mold rather than clean it up. The proximity to the lake and ski resorts was great, but the property is on a steep hill with a steep, short driveway, making it difficult to access in snowy weather. Do not expect a refund even if Interstate 80 is closed; poor weather is not covered. We lost one day due to a snow storm and road closure. I would stay clear of VACASA properties in this area, VRBO should too.

House in Shambles

When arriving the bearmat was disconnected. When entering the house know there is no air conditioning so if you are sensitive to heat I wouldnt reccomend staying. The floor of the living room was heavily scratched. The deck of the balcony should be checked because some boards are loose and could be a tripping hazard. The hottub had to be reset many times over the course of our trip but was fine over all. The place is very worn down, with doors, cabinets, and tables being scratched up too.The couches were fine and comfortable, aswell as the master bedroom bed and the lower solo bedroom. The bunk beds were creaky and painful after long periods of rest The screen door also had issues with even functioning. The bathrooms were very nice but I do reccomend putting a bathmat in the lower floors bathroom because it could be a slipping hazard. The bottom floors tiles are not set in place and you can hear them shifting and feel them slightly moving. One bonus is they do have netflix and hulu on the tv, and the hot water and water pressure were very nice. Over all i would give this a 3 out of 5 stars, it can be an enjoyable stay but the cons overway the good, good if you just need a place to sleep and shower. We did have a bear break in to the garage while we were sleeping and it seems like it has happened before. It tore up trash and a garage door, and we were told to just leave it alone, which attracted the bear.

Bad all the way around

The house was fine but upon arrival the hot tub did not work, the propane on the grill was out and the communication with the vacasa manager was terrible. They were unresponsive and dismissive of our requests to get things fixed. I spent hrs on the phone with vacasa only to have them revert me back to the local manager who continued to ignore me. For a trip that costs thousands of dollars they refunded $190 for a hot tub that didn't work. Not worth it - would never stay here or recommend it again or recommend working with vacasa ever. An overall bad experience for what was supposed to be a relaxing 4th of july week.

Great for a small group

We visited Lake Tahoe for a ski trip and Fawn Lodge was perfect for us. It was very spacious and the large open living/ kitchen space was perfect for hanging out. The hot tub was a huge perk too! There were a few maintenance issues - the garbage disposal didn’t work, the door frame to the master bedroom was broken so the door was very difficult to open and close. Beds were comfortable and the house overall was clean and pretty well stocked with plenty of towels and extra blankets and space heaters. The carpet could use a deep clean and it would have been nice if the windows would have been cleaned to help us enjoy the view, but the house wasn’t gross or anything. We would definitely stay here again!

Super fun place to stay

This house was a great place to stay with lots of space for all guests. However, there were two broken doors in the master bedroom which need to be fixed, and the floor was a bit scratched up. Jacuzzi is a great feature especially when it’s snowing outside.

Snow storm.

We had flown cross-country, when we landed we were informed that our reservation was canceled a hour and a half before check-in. I understand the weather was awful, but there answer was we can reschedule in the next 30 days. After almost 2 hours on the phone with vacasa we able to reestablish our reservation starting a day later they informed us they were not able have the place cleaned. When we arrived the place was trashed, the prior renters were slobs, we found the place a little run down,

Over all great house & stay!

The house in general was great & allowed dogs. The only downfall was the trash was not picked up from the previous stay, beer cans left in garage & outback on the ground, the master bedroom door was hanging off the hinges so could not shut the doors, early check in was a joke / didn't get it, the kitchen essentials to use are extremely old / worn out, and the big couch is pretty much ready for the trash. We did love the house overall and location was great. Neighborhood was nice and peaceful. Perfect location for family to stay.

Not as advertised

Accommodation COULD be amazing. It is currently very tired, needing some TLC, especially the hot tub and outside areas which are untidy, dirty and in a state of disrepair. Had an issue one night where the door to the property could not be locked as it was broken. Not worth the price that it is listed at - unless they spend some money on it.

Not worth the price, poor quality rental

There were more cons than pros at this rental. We rent in Tahoe often and this was the worst lodge conditions. All the beds were uncomfortable especially the bunk beds, you could feel every spring. Hardly enough blankets for a winter lodge. Only 8 forks total and the cutlery was just old. No foil or zip locks or mixing bowls, just cheap old cook wear. Couches were a joke, just old and gross leather, couch pillows just had a nasty texture. Hot tub smelt like something died in it. This was the only thing they came out to fix the next day but then it took forever to reheat the new water that we ended up with one day's use out of 3 days. Dishwasher was missing wheels for the dish basins plus no dishwasher soap was provided. The only pros were the refrigerator and stove were nice. Overall you can get a nicer place in Tahoe for the Price they charged. It just seems like they don't care about the property other than doing basic cleaning for the next renters, which is probably why we found bedding and other items still in the washer and dryer. The dryer hardly works. I don't typically leave reviews unless the quality was top notch or the lowest of the low this rental is rock bottom.

Perfect spot for a Tahoe trip

Everything was seamless for a ski trip. The hot tub was huge, perfect for our group. Only thing that could be improved is stocking the kitchen better with more cooking items, and a better coffee maker.

Don't Stay Here

Every bad review on here is accurate and Vacasa has not done anything to fix it. The doors are falling off, the carpet is dirty, the couches are gross and uncomfortable, the kitchen is not well-equipped for cooking. Additionally, the beds felt dirty and I have a serious concern about bed bugs after staying here.

Perfect family getaway

It's true, the furniture is outdated, the carpet is a little stained, the bedroom door is hard to close, and yes they need more towels.....but it didn't hinder us from having the best time ever! The home is large, tons of room for everyone and we were super comfy, and thrilled to have a jacuzzi. Location was super close to town and the lake. We will be thrilled to be able to stay here again. Thank you for having us.
