The bedrooms are inviting and spacious, featuring comfortable beds—a king in one room and a queen in the other. Each bed is adorned with parachute percale cotton sheets, pillowcases, and duvet covers, ensuring a restful night's sleep.

The full bathroom provides a relaxing space with a bathtub and shower, complete with all the necessary amenities.

The generously sized living room is the perfect gathering spot, offering ample seating for everyone. Enjoy quality time together, play board games from our collection, or unwind in front of the large flat-screen TV. Feel free to sign into your favorite streaming services on the Samsung TV, as most platforms are available.

The dining room provides a charming and versatile space with seating for six. Whether you're enjoying a family meal or using it as a workspace or game area, it's the ideal setting for creating cherished memories.

Step into the well-appointed kitchen, equipped with modern conveniences such as a gas stove, full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, blender, and more. All utensils and dinnerware are provided, making meal preparation a breeze.

Outside, the fully fenced backyard offers a safe haven for your dog to roam freely, while you can relax and take in the beauty of the surrounding North Carolina nature. It's a serene spot to unwind, sip a cup of coffee, or enjoy an alfresco meal.

Please keep in mind that there is a train track not far from the home and you may hear the train a couple of times a day.

The entire home is accessible for guests including the backyard. The detached garage is used for storage and will not be accessible to guests.

Our team is always available to help but we are not on site and the soonest we can generally get on site is about 1 hr. Please reach out with any questions or concerns as one of our team members should be able to help if you need it!

The town's proximity to larger cities like Durham, Chapel Hill, and Raleigh offers the convenience of urban amenities while allowing visitors to retreat to the tranquility of Efland. Whether you're seeking a quiet getaway or looking to explore the surrounding areas, Efland provides a charming base for your North Carolina adventures.

Cars are the main form of transport in this area. Uber and Lyft will both service this home. There is no public transport available within walking distance of the home. If you would like to travel between Greensboro, Hillsboro, Durham, and Raleigh in a form of transport other than car, the Amtrak service is fantastic and inexpensive. The closest station is in downtown Hillsboro.

House Rules:
If you do decide to stay at our lovely home, we do charge the following fees separately after you book:

1) Refundable Security Deposit - $300. We recommend paying this with a credit card since it will only be a hold placed on your card during your reservation. If you pay with a debit card or direct ACH transfer, the money will be withdrawn from your account 3 days before check-in and refunded 3 days afterwards upon successful inspection of the premises.

2) Dogs - $100/dog per reservation. We allow up to three dogs per reservation to be paid after booking. Please note this is not reflected in your reservation price and is an additional charge.

3) We also require all of our guests to upload a photo ID to their precheck-in portal to confirm their identity before we will give access to the property.

Early arrival or late departure is on a case by case basis, depending on the cleaners schedule. We need to allow the cleaning crew ample time to make sure the space is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before the next stay. If early checkout or late arrival are available we generally charge a small fee to cover the change in the cleaner's schedule.

Absolutely NO parties or events, gatherings, functions of any kind, loud music, excessive noise, offensive behavior, illegal firearms or weapons, illegal substances including narcotics, drug paraphernalia, fireworks, sparklers, or incendiary devices, and illegal activities.

Please note that this is a quiet and peaceful residential neighborhood. Kindly keep any music at a reasonable level and be respectful of our neighbors. Any reports of excess noise could result in guests being asked to leave.

Security cameras are installed (legally) over the front entrance and driveway areas.

For insurance purposes, it's important that the # of guests match the booking. Other overnight guests not listed at the time of booking is strictly prohibited by VRBO. If at any time you are expecting additional guests, please let us know prior. You are also responsible for any visitors that enter the rental property.

While this is a family friendly home, it is not child proof. If you have any children with you during your stay, please mind them at all times.

For makeup removal, please USE BLACK towels provided.

Report any issues, damages and breakages immediately.

Garbage must be tied tight and placed in the green bin at the street. Strictly no trash is to be left inside.

Smoking of any kind (includes vaping) is strictly prohibited in the home; if smoking outside, do so with all doors and windows completely closed and please pick up and dispose of all remnants.

Although we do welcome dogs, you must make sure all pets are placed on your reservation and disclosed at time of booking. You will be required to pay the pet fee during pre-checkin. We also ask that pets are kept off furniture at all times and that you take responsibility for any damage/mess caused by your pet. All pet waste must be cleaned up in the backyard before you checkout.

Gas grill is for your use - please make sure the gas is turned off and the grill cleaned before you leave.

Please only use candles in case of a power outage, and make sure they're attended.

Consequences relating to non-compliance of Codes of Conduct or House Rules include, but are not limited to extra charges, early termination, immediate eviction and further recovery action relating to any damage, loss or theft. Any breach may result in immediate termination of the rental agreement and a report lodged with the local authorities.
