This cozy two bedroom 1 bath bungalow is a 73 year old "gem" in historic West Hillsborough. Freshly painted, very clean, and lovingly decorated with modern touches throughout. The space is bright and airy inside and situated on a quiet private road within walking distance to Gold Park, River Walk, Nash St. Tavern, Village Diner, Hillsborough BBQ, Napoli's Pizza and Whitt's Frozen Custard. Just minutes from Downtown.

Sweet house in sweet neighborhood

This house was a perfect quiet near a family wedding in Hillsborough. Artsy area w good dining choices. The house was well stocked in kitchen and bathrooms; beds were comfortable; well-kept very private yard with a deer walking through. I'd go back.

Awesome!

It is a very nice place as advertised. My favorite part is that it's fairly close to the trailheads to the riverfront walkways. I also liked that there are a couple eateries and dessert places within walking distance. Downtown Hillsboro is a little bit further but it's very doable on a walk I would say it took me about 15 to 20 minutes to get to downtown to eat at Weaver Street market. I will definitely keep this place in mind for the next time I am in town and need a place to stay.

The Cozy Hillsborough Bungalow

The house was charming, spotless and very comfortable! It was the perfect choice for our visit. The property was quiet and it felt like you were in the country, however, it was five minutes from the lovely town with restaurants and shops. We came to visit a friend who was also five minutes away! The hostess was very easy to communicate with too. Thank you for a wonderful visit .

Cozy retreat in Hillsborough

I spent a month in this property and truly enjoyed my stay! The house is so neat and fully furnished with all you need and more! It is in a quiet neighborhood on a nice size lot that is a great spot to just relax. I will definitely look to come back when in need. It was also a great place to walk my dog.

Cozy Cottage

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is a cozy cottage in a very quiet area yet close to downtown. The home had everything we needed. The owner was excellent to work with. We will definitely use again.

Peaceful little bungalow

We had a very comfortable 6-night stay at this house. Although the house is small, it has a nice functional layout. Paint and color pallets were pleasing with furniture that fit each room and rooms were nicely decorated. Appreciated extras such as a chair in the bedroom and desk in separate room for work if needed. Nice new deck off the back door, easy access to driveway for loading and unloading the car. Nice place to sit and listen to the birds. Quiet neighborhood so we slept well. House is on narrow gravel street, some neighboring yards needed upkeep. Host was exceptional!! Would stay here again.

Hillsborough Bungalow

Everything was excellent. Communication, Cleanliness, Comfort and location were spot-on. The hostess left water, fruit and treats which was such a nice touch. It was very welcoming. The location is perfect for Hillsbourough, close to restaurants and a glorious "RiverWalk" which takes you all the way to town. I definitely would want to stay here again the next time I have the occasion to be in this wonderful part of North Carolina.

Cozy Cottage

Cozy little cottage tucked away on a private lane in the beautiful hills of Hillsborough. Check out The Nomad restaurant and Yonder to hear some great live local artists. Would definitely recommend this VRBO for a relaxing getaway.

Lovely House in West Hillsborough

This house is comfortable with all the conveniences you would want in a home. The kitchen has lots of surfaces and cabinet's. The house is airy and bright. When we had needed a little help, Alison came over right away. We very much appreciated the wonderful lodging, and we will be back!

Awesome Cottage

We had a family wedding in Hillsborough, NC and the cottage was very near. It was very comfortable and a wonderful place to retire to at night after family functions for the wedding weekend. We would definitely stay here again. Our host was very helpful and responded to any questions I had very quickly. Alison was most helpful!

Girls weekend

We got together for some friend time away from families. This was delightful. The set up is thoughtful. I was able to bring my pup, and it accommodated well. We had dinner on the deck and closed out our days there. It was quiet and tucked away,Less than a mile from everything we needed.

Extra Room

We were in town to celebrate our sons 40th and need extra room that was pet friendly. Just looking for a place to sleep in other words. Pleasantly surprised on arrival. The property is well maintained, clean and comfortable. Allison communicated very well to make sure we had all the info we needed.

The hope when we chose this house was fulfilled!

We chose this home with the hope that it would be comfortable for 4 weeks for my wife, me and our two Welsh Springer Spaniels as a transition to moving to our new home in Hillsborough. Our hope was fulfilled. The neighborhood is comfortable and diverse. The street is quiet. The neighbors are friendly and welcoming and not overbearing. We watched their garden grow and enjoyed the local deer and groundhog. The home is close to historic Hillsborough and great for walking.

Lovely little place in a nice quiet area

This little gem is located on a quiet street in a newly revived section of Hillsborough. It is quaint and perfect for two to three people. The kitchen is full size and fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans. Bring all food items needed as this place did not have a bunch of 'left over' stuff that I often find in many VRBOs. The kitchen is very clean and a nice supply of kitchen towels and cloths are available. There is a nice dining space that comfortably seats 4 people. The bathroom is small but all you need is there. The main bedroom has a comfy bed that is a little on the soft side. It slept well and the curtains over the shades meant that the room was sufficiently dark to get a good night's sleep. The TV is in good working order with a few streaming selections (Netflix, Prime Video) but no local channels. The entire place was very clean and everything was as expected. The check-in was very simple with a keyless entry door. Alison was very responsive and supplied all needed information in a timely manner. This is not a super swanky place but you cannot beat how clean and comfy it is in a cozy neighborhood. I definitely recommend this place.

Adorable place and town

We came to visit because this location is perfectly half way between my sister in Burlington and the DPAC where we enjoyed the play Some Like It Hot. We very much enjoyed our stay, especially the location! We had breakfast at the nearby Village Diner for great biscuits and Mimosas. We also enjoyed the Hillsborough BBQ company for tasty food and unique drinks- my favorite was the Cucumber Crush!

Perfect retreat

We are locals who stayed for one week while some renovation work was underway at our home. The bungalow was the perfect home-away-from home, super clean, thoughtfully furnished, and stocked with everything we could need. We were able to easily work remotely from the house and we enjoyed the quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Expectations exceeded!

Excellent Property. A perfect stay.

We only stayed 2 nights, but it was perfect for our needs. The property owner was excellent, and responded quickly to any silly question I had. And her answer was always yes. Excellent house, perfect facilities, and a nice peaceful location.
