Popham Pines is located in a quiet pine grove, across a private dirt road from the entire expanse of beautiful Popham Beach. Less than a five minute walk on a community path through the dunes will bring you from the front yard of this rental to a peaceful, neighborhood section of Popham Beach, with soft sand and rolling waves. You’re also able to walk all the way around from the neighborhood beach to the State Park if desired. Wood Island and Fox Island are accessible via sand bar at low tide from the beach. There is excellent fishing off the beach as well. Immerse yourself in the local history at Popham Colony Historical Site and Forts Popham and Baldwin, all less than a mile from the cottage. Reserve a local charter boat for private touring or fishing. Close to Bath, Wiscasset, and Boothbay ~ A boatload of family memories are sure to be created here.

Relaxing beach days and much outdoor exploration await you at this charming, single level, three-bedroom cottage, sleeping no more than five guests. Inside, you’ll appreciate the cozy furnishings, the handsome pine walls, and the renovated kitchen.

The main bedroom promises a restful nights’ sleep offering a queen-size bed. There is a full bathroom adjacent to the bedroom, configured with a walk-in shower, and the washer/dryer. The second bedroom is also furnished with a queen-size bed; the third presents a twin-size bed.

The living area consists of two comfy love seats and stylish beach decor, setting the scene for relaxation along the coast in the main living area! Watch favorite shows and new movies on the flat-screen TV. The home includes complimentary basic cable and strong internet; it also provides a desk and desk chair tucked away in a bedroom, for any remote work that needs to be completed during your stay.

A roomy sectional in the sunroom/porch invites you to enjoy peaceful downtime. Curl up with a good book, or your favorite person, and simply kick back and enjoy the ample natural light. A variety of games, puzzles and books are also provided for your indoor enjoyment.

Prepare tasty meals in the updated kitchen, fully equipped with a gas range, dishwasher, refrigerator, toaster, microwave and coffeemaker, along with a walk-in pantry and an array of helpful gadgets. You’ll also find a convenient starter supply of dish soap, paper towels, toilet tissue, and pantry items. The dining table is located in the sunroom, comfortably seating 5. There is also a propane grill to use if desired.

Towels/Linens and all blankets/pillows are provided for you. The cottage is also equipped with a washer/dryer.

Outdoor Area & Amenities

The backyard is outfitted with everything you need to enjoy the gorgeous weather. Sway peacefully in a hammock as burgers sizzle on the gas grill and enjoy al fresco dining at the picnic tables or lawn chairs. Enjoy a spirited volleyball game, badminton, or horse shoes after returning from the beach! Outdoor games and toys are kept in a large bin in the yard. There is also a spacious, private outdoor shower and changing area. Off street parking is available for 2 -3 cars ONLY. Street parking is not permitted. You must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property and will be asked to sign a rental agreement.
