Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located apartment that sits right on Mckay Bay. This apartment boasts amazing sunsets, water views and close proximity to Downtown Tampa and everything else that Tampa has to offer! The "Deco Drive" apartment was designed with a 1950's Art Deco Miami theme. Enjoy the neighborhood park and pool, fish along McKay Bay, or ride a City Scooter to Ybor City, Downtown, Channelside or wherever else you want to explore!

The Space:
The "Deco Drive" apartment was designed with a 1950's Art Deco Miami theme. This newly renovated space is fitted with shiplap, seafoam green walls, a pops of bright yellow for the old-time Miami feel. The bed is fitted with a memory foam mattress and the living room has a deluxe air mattress, to ensure a good night's rest! For a relaxed day, enjoy a warm cup of coffee on the front porch with beautiful Bay view, or catch up on your favorite TV shows on the ROKU TV. This quaint and comfy space is perfect for the small group looking for a relaxing vacation, or for an inviting space to come home to after a day full of Tampa adventures!

The Neighborhood:
Palmetto beach is a hidden gem of Tampa. This small up and coming industrial neighborhood boasts beautiful waterfront views of the bay. Enjoy picnics at the pier, strolls through Desoto park, or cool off at the community pool.

Situated just a few minutes from the historic streets of Ybor City, Downtown Tampa, SOHO, and the Seminole Heights foodie district. Palmetto Beach is also just a short drive away from the airport and Tampa Bay's world-famous beaches.

The pull out sofa is broken with a note on it to use the air mattress. We needed both for the kids. The air mattress is soaked with water. The bed sheets are stained. The bed has what appears to be urine stains. The couch is stained. There are spiders and spider webs throughout the living room. There is not enough bedding for all. There is only two towels. This is not as advertised at all. Unfortunately we are stuck as we have an event to attend. I have taken pictures and will be seeking a refund. Buyer beware.

Save your money and just book a hotel.

I recently had the misfortune of booking a VRBO rental that turned out to be a complete nightmare. It's unfortunate that I have to write this negative review, but it's crucial to warn others about the abysmal experience I had during my stay. First and foremost, the communication with the property owner was atrocious. It was incredibly difficult to get ahold of them, and their response time was painfully slow. When you're relying on a host to address issues or concerns, it's vital to have prompt and effective communication, but that was severely lacking in this case. The rental was located in a run-down part of town, which was a major disappointment. The area was sketchy and didn't feel safe, especially when returning to the property at night. It's essential for property owners to provide accurate descriptions of their location to avoid misleading potential guests. Upon arrival, it became clear that the property was not well-maintained. Cobwebs were scattered in the corners of several rooms, giving a sense of neglect and poor cleanliness standards. It was apparent that the property hadn't received a thorough cleaning in quite some time. To make matters worse, several outlets in the rental were non-working. This inconvenience created an unnecessary hassle, as we had to constantly juggle and prioritize which devices we could charge at any given time. Such a basic amenity should be in proper working order, and the lack of attention to detail was evident. The lack of extra bedding and towels was highly disappointing. We had booked the rental for five nights, expecting the appropriate provisions for our stay. However, we were met with a severe shortage of essential items, making our stay uncomfortable and inconvenient. It's simply unacceptable for a rental property to lack such basic necessities. Given the multitude of issues we encountered, we were left with no choice but to cut our stay short. We booked the rental for five nights but ended up staying for just one night. The overall condition of the property and the numerous inconveniences we experienced made it impossible for us to tolerate an extended stay. In conclusion, my experience at this VRBO rental was nothing short of a disaster. The hard-to-reach host, the run-down part of town, the cobwebs in the corners, non-working outlets, and the lack of extra bedding and towels were all major letdowns. I strongly advise potential guests to steer clear
