We loved our stay at Inn the Heights. The place was beautiful and in a really nice up and coming area. We'll definitely stay here again. Highly recommend it!!
Hey...beds were good. Everything clean etc. It's in a 'complex' (so to speak) and some of the (apparently) live-in types were, ummm, let's just say they were not the sort we're used to associating with. But, solid place. Wouldn't stay for 2 weeks but great for a couple of nights--
The place was nice and looked like photos. One complaint is that the bathroom door does not fully close. The host also never responded to our messages through the app, but they werent urgent so it was fine.
Very clean and exactly as described in listing, the outside are is very cute with a sitting area and grill. The room we stayed in was very nice and clean, definitely for just two people but perfect for that. Has everything you could need to enjoy your stay.
This was my 4th time staying at the one of Hostâs units. I love the area, itâs always quiet. The unit is exactly as it appears on the listing. However, the picture can tell you how comfortable the bed is, youâd have to book it for yourself.
We had a cozy stay in this one bedroom apartment. It is in close vicinity to many tourist spots like the Tampa Zoo, Marine Walk, Museums etc. Fortunately they have designated parking, or parking on the streets can get tricky.
We really enjoyed the space - plenty of room for the 3 of us, all necessary amenities were there, nothing missing that we needed. Property is definitely not in a touristy area, so if thatâs your thing, this may not be the place for you. Regardless, itâs conveniently located for the things we wanted to see: Aquarium, Clearwater Beach, Raymond James Stadium.
This is a nice property. Unfortunately, there was miscommunication with maintenance and our spot wasnât ready upon arrival. However, management was onsite made it right by switching us to a different space on the same property and was pretty quick about it. They must have been replacing the roof during our stay so it was noisy but not at night. There are bright lights on outside that bedroom window. Overall, it was a good stay and weâd stay there again. We really appreciated the effort they put forth in getting us a replacement spot and not having to find another place at the last minute.
This was our second stay on this property because we so enjoyed the first trip. Unfortunately, the floors in this unit were really dirty, and after the owner offered to have them cleaned up, I didn't hear from him again. That was disappointing. However, the units are well appointed and nicely furnished. You have everything you need for a short or long stay. The neighborhood is truly up and coming, but the complex is gated. There are many restaurants near by, and it's close to the performing arts center.
Very cozy getaway at this property. Central to all things Tampa. Safe stay, although location is on a major boulevard. Plates, cutlery, glasses, all the kitchen materials you need, including dishwasher and microwave. Loud, rude guests shouting outside made it kinda noisy, but only for a short time and not the fault of the property. Place is not a solo house; it is a small âinnâ with multiple small apartments. Wi-fi and tv good. Pictures accurately represent the property. Some backup tissue wouldâve been helpful. Plenty of towels, clean sheets. Andrew communicated with me, no problems, and he made sure the place was ready with just a dayâs notice. Reasonable price. Would enjoy coming back.
The unit was everything that was promised. Comfortable and clean. The grounds were certainly kept up. The murals on the outside walls are beautiful and cheerful.Whenever anything needed to be done the management made it happen right away. If you want to be close to transportation it was there and it is close to downtown. The garden and bbq were convenient. However with that convenience comes lots of traffic noise. Smoking was not allowed in the units but it was in the gardens and the heavy smoke was really unpleasant. I wish they did not permit smoking anywhere. The second hand smoke is also detrimental to health. The workers on the grounds - super nice and efficient. Everyone tries hard to please.
Looking for a charming getaway in Tampa? Look no further than this cozy little spot! The pictures really do capture the essence of this place - it's small but mighty, with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. And let's talk about that toilet paper - AMAZING. Seriously, it's like wiping with clouds.
Of course, no place is perfect, and we did encounter a few hiccups during our stay. There were some sticky spots on the bedroom floor that made us feel like we were walking through a giant piece of flypaper. And while we appreciate the previous guests leaving some accessories behind, we weren't quite sure what to do with the abandoned granny bra and socks.
But the real disappointment was the sleep number bed, which either wasn't plugged in or was just plain broken. Combined with pillows that were flatter than a pancake, it made for a pretty uncomfortable night's sleep.
All in all, though, we still had a great time and would definitely consider staying here again. Just maybe bring our own pillows next time.
I am a Tampa native and have lived in several different areas of Florida. I know the state of Florida like the back of my hand. If you need any advice when visiting any part of Florida I can help.
My father bought this property in the early 80's. Our family business is located in the front portion of the property. The apartments in the back of the building were for many years long term rentals. We have meticulously renovated the entire building inside and outside. They are now all being used as vacation rentals. The building has a lot of historic significance being built in the early 1920's.
