If you are looking for the perfect mountain getaway to enjoy with friends and or family, Tahoe Lakeview lodge is the place. Masterfully built to overlook Lake Tahoe's Carnelian Bay, and conveniently located halfway between Tahoe City and Kings Beach, this spacious mountain lodge blends family-style living with mountain luxury.

Enjoy the huge living room flooded with natural sunlight. The large dining table, breakfast bar, and spacious kitchen comfortably accommodate 12 guests for nights dining at home. Four spacious bedrooms plus a separate studio apartment allows even the largest groups gives everyone a feeling of space.

The oversized back deck has a large hot tub, 2 patio dining tables and gas BBQ for enjoying warm summer days or cool nights while taking in the Tahoe sunsets.

The 55' flat-screen TV with Roku and Netflix, Sonos Wireless sound system, and high-speed internet will allow your most connected guests to still feel right at home.

Enjoy access to the main house and studio apartment off of the garage. There are 3 bedrooms downstairs as well as a full bath and studio. Upstairs are the master bedroom, great room and kitchen. There is an ensuite bathroom in the master, plus an additional half bath/powder room just off the main living area.

A bonus area between the main house and studio host a gaming area perfect for the kids to enjoy apres-ski fun with indoor basketball and arcade classics like Pacman

The surrounding neighborhood is an outdoor playground. Hiking trails, mountain bike trails and sledding are all within a 3-minute walk from the front door. Beach access and kayaking just a 10-minute drive down the hill. The areas best ski resorts, Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows and Northstar, are just a short drive (15-20 minutes) away. Mountain bikers can ride from the house 6 miles up the forest trail and descend down into Northstar Ski Resort. Shopping and restaurants are conveniently located in the towns of Tahoe City and Kings Beach, less than 10 minutes from the house.

Overall great stay!

The house and layout is amazing! Perfect for large families and the bunk room is GREAT for kids! The bedroom off of the garage is great for a family w/ kids. Lots of room for a pack n play with a small kitchenette & fridge that make feedings easy! It also has door access to the backyard - great for a dog! The neighborhood is awesome for walks and it's centrally located in between Tahoe City and Kings Beach towns. About 8-10 minute drive either way. Lastly, the deck is so spacious - I could hang out there and stare at the lakeview or watch the stars all night! With all that said, I was a little nervous going into the stay b/c of all the reviews of broken items, but they were all very minor and DO NOT impact the overall stay & review. Again, the house truly is great. BUT, they do NEED to fix a couple of things... 1. The front right burner of the stovetop doesn't ignite easily and the knob separates from the main base, so you don't know if it's on high or low. 2. Please buy a new kitchen garbage can - it's extremely hard to get the bag out and someone mentioned cutting themselves. Maybe one with recycling side too? There wasn't anywhere to put bottles or cans. 3. The dishwasher cleaned items, but it needs an internal deep clean. There's a white residue all throughout the inside, which is gross. 4. The outdoor firepit is broken. The ignite button works but then you cannot let go of it or else the fire goes out. Wifi worked! We'd come back for sure, knowing those items are fixed!

Great House, Rocky Start

A group of us rented this home for four days right after the 4th of july weekend. I think the timeframe really impacted our stay due to how busy Tahoe is during the 4th. We were all traveling in from various locations and upon arriving the house was open without being cleaned, as if people had just left. When contacting Vacasa they submitted a claim and got us in touch with the Cara, the local property manager. She was beyond helpful in scheduling the cleaning right away and even offered to supply a complimentary meal whle we waited. Unfortunately, even after coming back to the house it was still not fully cleaned. Throughout our stay little mishaps kept popping up, broken this and that, things not working. It was a bit frustrating due to the cost and expecation that we had for this home, but we made the most of it with the time we had and the same amazing property manager empathized with our situation and made things right. For the house iteself, minus the things that were not clean and broken, it was a great home. Good size, open floorplan, great proximity to the lake (driving distance), lovely deck for outdoor meals. Nice selection of chairs for the beach (note: no beach towels available), corn hole for outdoor fun, BBQ and propane available. Good selection of in kitchen items (pots, pans, plates, cups etc.) All in all, I'd say the house is a good option, just be weary that there may be some imperfections for the price of it.

Worth It

Clean, modern, spacious property. There is a hot tub, games in the garage, and grill. There are extra trash bags, paper towels, and condiments. We couldn't find any soap for the dishwasher, but we bought some and left it in the house.

Fantastic Tahoe retreat!

We loved our New Years stay at Tahoe Lakeview Lodge! The home was well laid out and recently remodeled plus it has a great floor plan for our families and children. The extra suite off the garage was perfect for additional space. The games in the garage kept the kids entertained for hours. We loved the deck right off the living room which had sweet views of Lake Tahoe and the hot tub was a nice treat to cap off the day on the mountain. The only negative thing would be the house was not equipped with household supplies such as dishwasher pods, extra paper towels, laundry pods, hot pads and kitchen towels plus we ran low on toilet paper so we had to make a run to the store. I’d suggest bringing your own just in case!

Great House But With Issues

Great location and layout but we had some issues you should be aware of. Owners allow pets and cleaning crew did not do a good job cleaning up dog hair especially in the bedrooms. Vacasa local Guest Services was not responsive to our email or text.
