Welcome to Bayberry Trails!
Newly renovated in 2022--we are excited to be your hosts for our third season!
We would like to assure you our families have been renting 5 star review homes on the Cape for over 15 years and we fully understand what is required for an awesome Cape experience. Our home will be clean and well appointed, and ready for an awesome vacation! Please feel free to reach out with any questions prior to booking and we would be happy to chat!

Home Description:
Bayberry Trails is a 3 bedroom, 2 full bath home with all new kitchen appliances, mattresses, and furniture. The home is close to both bayside and oceanside beaches and a 2 min walk to the Cape Cod Rail Trail!

Designed for your relaxation and entertainment, the open concept living & dining area includes two new, full size leather couches, and a 55” smart TV - all centered around a fireplace for those cooler months. During the warmer months the home is cooled with central AC and you will have access to the two car garage for easy storage of beach gear and bikes.

Prepare your Cape Cod dinners using the large kitchen island and new appliances. Fully equipped with plenty of cabinet space and an open pantry, the kitchen is ready for you! Before you sit down to eat at the six-seat dining room table, enjoy a beverage from the great buffet-cocktail setup.

Through the slider in the dining area, enter the fully screened sunroom. Here you will enjoy the fresh Cape Cod air, while you relax on the newly upholstered wicker furniture. Off of the sunroom are two decks - one with a few chairs and a grill for those family summer BBQs, and the other leads to the outdoor shower built in 2022. Step off the deck into the flat backyard to find a seating area and fire pit for some before-bedtime smores.
The home has three bedrooms.The first offers a twin over full bunk bed and colorful nautical decor . The second - a king bed and a great desk area for working from home. Across the hall from this bedroom is a full bath with tub/shower.

The final bedroom is the master suite with a king bed and adjoining full bath (stand up shower) as well as a laundry area.

Nauset Beach - 13 min drive

Walk 2 minutes to the Cape Cod Rail Trail!
There are some awesome Cape destinations restaurants you can conveniently visit from the trail.

If you enjoy hiking or a walk in the woods, Bayberry Trails is a 10 minute walk through a quiet neighborhood to the South Eastham Conservation area.

If you're ready for a break from the beach or to restock essentials, the home is less than a 5 min drive to the center of Orleans for all your shopping and dining needs (Stop & Shop, TJMaxx, Christmas Tree Shop, and many area restaurants--The Knack, Hot Chocolate Sparrow, Rock Harbor Grill).

Absolutely Perfect!

Everything from start to finish was perfect! The house itself was pristine and included everything anyone could want. The kitchen was well-stocked with essentials and a joy to work in. The living room and each of the three bedrooms had very large wall-mounted flat screen TVs! The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and very comfortable and had all the essentials, including extra towels and blankets. Our favorite room was the sunroom. It was comfortable and quiet, overlooking the private backyard. Communication with our hosts, Mel & Rich was exceptional! We had a couple of minor questions and they always responded quickly and with such a great attitude. We never felt like we were bothering them. The location of the house was in a nice, quiet neighborhood but close to restaurants, beaches and stores. We went to the Truro Vineyards and took an amazing tour with Art’s Dune Tours in P-town. We can personally recommend The Lost Dog (lunch), the Pearl (dinner) and the Rail (breakfast). Mel & Rich also left a great list of additional restaurants and attractions. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts, a better house or a better stretch of weather! We’re already thinking of a late Spring return trip!

Nice quite get away on the Cape

The house is very nicely updated throughout. It is clean, comfortable and has a nice open common space. The property is located in a quite neighborhood. Would stay here again!

The listing was exactly as advertised! Clean, spacious and a great location. Communication with the owners was seamless and we were even able to get in early! We will definitely be staying here again!

Loved the porch!

Perfect house for a weekend on the Cape. Close to rail trail. Comfortable beds and well-equipped kitchen. We all loved hanging out on the porch. Thank you for a great stay!

My husband, Rich, and I met at UMass Amherst and grew up in Massachusetts vacationing on the Cape. With 5 young children we wanted to have an escape for our family--a place to go to unwind and make incredible memories! Besides the incredible Cape Cod beaches, our family most enjoys biking on the CC Rail Trail to grab a treat at the Hot Chocolate Sparrow (great coffee, muffins, and ice cream!), Great Pond for swimming, and hiking the Fort Hill or White Cedar Swamp Trails.
We closed on Bayberry Trails in March of 2022 and then busily set to work completing updates and renovations. Summer of 2022 was our very first rental season and we were thrilled with the kind reviews and incredible families we had the opportunity to host in 22' and 23'!! We really look forward to hosting again in the upcoming season and hope to once again provide a home for our guests to escape, unwind, and make incredible memories of their own:)

Our neighborhood is ideal for a family looking to escape but with convenience. The home is situated on a quiet cul de sac which is great for littles to get some outdoor time while relaxing on the front steps. While the home feels removed, it has quick access to the bike trail as well as a convenient 3 minute drive to Orleans for shopping, groceries, and restaurants!
