Loved our time here!
This is a fabulous house in a great location. The views are beautiful and the house is very comfortable for a group. We had 4 couples stay here while we enjoyed hiking in Acadia. The home was clean, kitchen was well stocked, and beds were comfortable. There are deer to greet you every morning at the end of the street and calming water views to relax you at the end of the day. The town reminds you of something from a Hallmark movie and the people are very friendly. We enjoyed a great dinner at the local Upper Deck restaurant and also at Geddy's in Bar Harbour. Make sure to save a day to just enjoy the house and town - the shops, the lighthouse, and local hikes. I would just let you know that although there are Smart TV's and internet, there is no access to live TV. If you have a streaming service for live TV that you can connect, you are fine but we did not and missed out on our football games and current news. My only suggestions would be 1)if there could be a light on the house number and front porch for arrivals that come in after dark. We had a difficult time identifying the house in the dark but the neighbors are all friendly and helped us out. 2) a new shower curtain with a plastic liner in the upstairs bathroom along with a set of hooks on the wall in there so everyone has a spot to hang their towel. Just a minor issue but it would allow everyone to let towels dry out and not have to hang them over doors or wash so often. Do not hesitate to rent here!

House met all of our needs. Please do not plan to have a working vacation. The internet is subpar in the entire area. Not the house’s problem.

Poor real estate management
Confusing and poor check in process. Was told 3 & 4, never given a definite time. House & floors dirty, bath towels wet, sinks in 2 bathrooms don’t drain, door in master bedroom did not stay closed, ac unit did not work, front deck railing missing a spoke and loose(safety issue). Not well stocked, no extra plastic bags in trash cans. No trash bags for kitchen at all. Blood stains on mattress pad in MB. Paid the cleaning fee for cleaners who did not clean??? Realtor told us we were cranky and rude and hung up on us. We traveled over 650 miles and to be told that in time was either 3 or 4 is not acceptable. Other than that, the house location was beautiful. But beware if renting this property.
