First off, the check-in process was easy, and the host was very friendly. She even offered to let us check-in a night early, and offered some wine from her bar. She was very respectful. As far as the house, it is clean and beautiful, but smaller than advertised. It comfortably sleeps about six adults, and anymore is a semi hassle. Not a great house for multiple families, but awesome for one or two. Here is the kicker- on the last day (checkout), the host called me, and accused me of having 17 guests in the house (that barely fits six), and accused me of bringing a dog (completely false claims). Turns out she was watching us through the Ring Camera set up and saw the neighbors dog on her porch. After some argument, the host requested I pay her under the table for "extra guests and the dog". We immediately became skeptical that this was a scam attempt. This event completely ruined the entire experience of our stay. The host started as a 10/10, but after this, I felt an honest review was necessary.
