Need a couple's getaway? Sandy's on the Sea Shore is the perfect place for a cozy, romantic trip that will bring you together! With the newly renovated Babe's Beach right across the street, you'll enjoy the sunset walks in the sand, the views from the balcony and everything is within walking distance! Access is easy with parking directly below. There is an elevator just down the breezeway or stairs a few steps away from the front door for energetic guests! Bedroom has queen size bed, as well as a queen size pull out couch in the living area. Just across from the bedroom on the main entry way, there's a vanity for the ladies in case you want to get dolled up for a night out. And for those nights you want to stay in and watch movies, there's everything you'll need to make a home cooked meal or order in from the many restaurant's nearby.

The kitchen is fully equipped for basic to moderate cooking and eating with pots, pans, bakeware, silverware, dishes, glassware and plasticware. Also included is a full size microwave, compact electric range, compact electric oven, refrigerator/freezer and coffeemaker. Amenities include coffee, filters, sugar, creamer and paper towels. Kitchen towels, cleaning supplies, dish drainer/dryer, chef's knives, cutting sheets, cooking utensils and more await your stay in our fully equipped little kitchen!

The location is ideal! Everything you need is within walking distance, 2 swimming pools and hot tubs, the beach, Golden Corral Buffet, Happy Buddha (Chinese), McDonalds, Popeye's Fried Chicken, Tortugas Mexican Cantina, Randall's Grocery Store & Pharmacy, Spec's Liquor, Starbucks and Bank of America. Its only a short drive to any of the island's hot spots and attractions. Those include Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens, Scholes International Airport, Galveston's Historic Pleasure Pier, The Duck Tour., Galveston Yacht Basin, UTMB (University of Texas Medical Branch), Texas A&M at Galveston, Pier 21, Willie G's, The Harbor Tour, Cruise Terminals No. 1, 2 and 3, The Elissa, The Historic to name a few!

** Parking Fee is $40.00 for 2 cars for the entirety of your stay. Please visit the main office to pay the parking fee. Office hours are 8AM - 8PM. Only cards accepted.** Please be sure your car is registered with Casa Del Mar as they reserve the right to tow any unregistered vehicles.

No pets are allowed at this property. Service animals are permitted with the appropriate documentation provided to the property manager in advance of your stay. We welcome our guests and work diligently to make their experience memorable. However, we only rent to adults over the age of 25 and families. A photo copy of identification of main renter is required prior to arrival of stay.

Good location

Good location to take children to the beach. Convenient to grocery, restaurants and shops. Not far from the Pleasure Pier. The AC stopped working which was inconvenient. The management took care of the issue. The place was good for two or three. But would be a tight fit for four.

Girls Birthday Trip

My bestie and I had a great time, walking distance to the beach, and wonderful restaurants. The bedroom is super small and the bed needs a new platform, but the mattress was comfy and we slept great.

Small but homey

It was much smaller than we expected but it was very homey. Decorated beautifully. Has everything you need to do basic cooking and the balcony was phenomenal!!! We would definitely stay against if we go back to Galveston

Island Time

The property was perfect. Near the pool, with access to all the restaurants on the seawall. We just needed a quick get away and this hit the spot.

Wasn’t Horrible but not Great

Worked for 2 people but would not recommend for 4 like it lists it can sleep. The queen bed in the bedroom is turned sideways to even fit and was very uncomfortable. The pull out couch was comfier. Barely any kitchenware for cooking. One of the cups had a whole in the bottom with tape over it and a glass baking dish was broke and chipped in multiple places all over. Kitchen wasn’t stocked with anything besides a pepper shaker. So for anyone looking forward to taking advantage of the kitchen you’ll have to buy all of your own stuff. No extra toiletries either. The shower curtain was a hazard itself! It didn’t even fit the length of the bathtub only stretched halfway across and was so long you were standing on it in a wet bathtub! I found someone else’s dirty underwear, bathing suits, and used towels hanging in the bathroom still when we arrived. The rental is literally right across the street from the beach but at the same time so are many other places to rent right on the strip. Parking is not included, so if you don’t do these type of rentals often or are new to this make sure you read the description of the Vrbo to catch that you have to pay 40$ for parking. This rental company asks for a picture of your drivers license but don’t be mistaken… that’s not to update the facility that you’re renting during that time. They will tow your car in the drop of a dime. Management doesn’t care nor does this rental company.
