Outside there is off-road parking for three cars, a front patio and a rear patio with furniture, barbecue and covered hot tub. Within 5.6 miles there is a shop and 1.6 miles a pub. Highchair and travel cot available to hire. Two pets are welcome however there is no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, starter for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Close by, between Braithwaite and Buttermere, is the stunning Newlands Valley, and the peaceful Bassenthwaite Lake is a sight to behold. There is a wide variety of walks to choose from, from strolls in the countryside to strenuous climbs of Skiddaw or the well-known Catbells.
