Our stone countryhouse is located in a quiet and peaceful green environment away from the noise of the city, with a large yard that overlooks the beautiful landscape around with the wild vegetation of green trees and adjacent to a small river. For nature lovers who like to explore they can wander around the surrounding areas.

As a self-catering house, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay.

We will be happy to welcome you to our renovated stone countryhouse of 96 square meters, in the village of Panagia located at the foot of the Psiloritis mountain.
Our stone countryhouse is located in the village next to the church of Panagia in a quiet spot adjacent to a small river. The large yard overlooks the beautiful landscape around with the wild vegetation of green trees. The sounds of the birds nesting in them will enchant you. Unique opportunity to escape from the exterminating pace of the big city in a green natural landscape. The beautiful lake of Zaros is 3.5 kilometers away. . If you like hiking, the European Path E4 of the Unesco Heritage Geopark, starts from Lake Zaros. For those who enjoy hiking the Rouva gorge and forest are also nearby. Only 30 minutes drive separates us from the south sea of ​​Crete. Matala, Lentas, Agia Galini are some of the famous beaches. For nature lovers who like to explore, they can wander around the village, visit on foot the village fountain, the old monastery of Paliamas, walk on paths of outstanding natural beauty, in the surrounding areas and do many other activities, such as cycling , yoga in nature, etc. Staying at Paliama by the River is an excellent opportunity to experience the beauty of Cretan nature. The 96 sq.m stone countryhouse includes 2 bedrooms with two double beds, a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen with a fireplace and to prepare your meals, a single room with a sitting room with large windows. Outside there is a large beautiful courtyard with flowers and trees overlooking the verdant mountains. From this comfortable courtyard in the evenings, due to the almost zero light pollution, you can enjoy the starry sky in a unique way. There is a comfortable pergola with a table and chairs, particularly functional at all hours of the day. Our accommodation can accommodate up to 6 people. It has a barbecue, refrigerator, electric stove, air conditioners, TV, washing machine, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, shower, small kitchen appliances (toaster, toaster, kettle, coffee maker for filter coffee and espresso, juicer, etc.), WI-FI. In other words, it is a fully furnished and electrically equipped house ready to host you in summer and winter. Towels and bed linen are provided.
