The Pool House is part of the most stunning architectural home in Crescent Head. This hexagonal free-standing dwelling overlooks the ocean on a seven-acre bush block. You will enjoy privacy and tranquillity in your own nest amongst the trees. We are only two minutes from Crescent Head village.
You will be staying in a self-contained, one-bedroom, one-bathroom pool house, with a small kitchenette.
The bedroom has the most stunning views overlooking the ocean. You will wake to beautiful sunrises, abundant birdlife, kangaroos, and other native animals. In winter and spring, the migrating whales are a spectacular highlight, often performing in view of The Pool House.
The modern black granite cream tiled bathroom includes a generous-sized shower, toilet, vanity, and ample storage.
The small kitchenette includes a microwave, sandwich press, electric frypan, toaster, kettle, coffee machine (pods), plate ware, glasses (water, wine & champagne) cutlery, kitchen utensils, preparation & serving bowls/platters.
Just outside the door, there is an outdoor kitchen that includes a sink, barbecue, wok burner, large preparation table, and outdoor table and chairs.
You have the choice of three dining locations. Inside there is an intimate cafe setting, out on the lawn is a garden setting overlooking the ocean, and adjacent to The Pool House is a covered poolside deck with a dining setting overlooking the pool and the spectacular view of the ocean.
Come and explore our seven-acre property which provides ample opportunity to view abundant birdlife and Australian native animals (kangaroos, goannas, frogs and the odd koala.)
You are welcome to swim in the pool and enjoy the poolside cabana.
We live in the main house on the other side of the pool. We will respect your privacy at all times but are here should you require assistance during your stay.
Crescent Head is a beautiful village on the mid-north coast of NSW. The beaches are pristine, the surf is sublime and the town has a relaxed, friendly feel.
Crescent Head Point has recently become the second surf reserve in Australia; the waves at the point are perfect for longboards and are long, gentle and clean. The beach and the back road (down to Point Plomer) are excellent for shorter boards and you can even find a wave down there with no one on it!
Killick Creek, which runs into the beach is great for kids and SUP boarders alike.
The local club has golf, tennis, bowls, pool tables, entertainment, kid's meals, counter meals and a Chinese restaurant.
We are lucky to have an amazing bakery, five coffee shops, five restaurants, a tavern, and a country club for a small town. There is also a small supermarket, chemist, surf shop, post office, and a petrol station.
The Pool House is located about five minutes drive from the main beach in Crescent Head and about ten minutes on push bikes.
We are located on the road that accesses the more secluded beaches along Point Plomer Road, Crescent Head.
We are very much a part of our community and on occasional hot days, we welcome local families to enjoy our swimming pool. We also enjoy socialising with our friends on our main deck. While sometimes you will hear kids laughing in the pool, most of the time it is very quiet and the sounds of the bush dominate.
No smoking inside The Pool House.
