The Space:
Havana at Crescent offers guests a comfortable stay with a queen-sized bed up in the loft and a couch, which can be converted into a single bed on the ground floor. A cozy 155-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities.
The bathroom follows ecologically sustainable principles, including a waterless eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers). It focuses on satisfying people's needs with natural resources and processes to save water through using eco-friendly toilets to save the environment.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surroundings, except the outdoor jacuzzi which is currently not operational at the moment.
If you want to visit Crescent Head, please coordinate with your land host to make the necessary arrangements during your stay.
The Neighborhood:
Havana at Crescent sits in a town in Crescent Head on the Tasman Sea Coast of New South Wales. Where you can explore surf breaks, beaches, and other attractions.
Point Plomer and Hat Head are all within a 28-38 min drive of the property.
Our local recommendations:
- Hat Head is a coastal town with beautiful national parks, headlands, beaches, and campgrounds.
- Woolworths is a nearby supermarket that offers fresh local produce such as vegetables, fruits, and more.
- Barnetts Bakery offers freshly baked cakes, muffins, donuts, and is best known for its authentic vanilla slices.
- Point Plomer has some of the most amazing beaches, breathtaking vistas, and bushwalking trails near Crescent Head.
- Killick Beach is a white sandy beach with nearby campgrounds, coastal walks, and scenic headland overlooking the whole of Crescent Head and Shelley beach at the bottom.
Getting Around:
By car:
- 4 hours to Byron Bay
- 45 mins to Port Macquarie
- 40 mins to South West Rocks
- 12 mins to Kempsey shopping town
- 4.5 hrs away from Sydney to Crescent
By public transport:
- Car or 4wd are the best option but there is a daily bus from Crescent to Kempsey and return
- 4wd on beaches are allowed and roads to Point Plomer are all dirt but worth every second
Other Things to Note:
- Wifi is not available
- We have our friendly dog (Great Dane pup) on the property
- Drinking water is provided to guests
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- No smoking inside the tiny house; only outside
- Please note that some are shared like BBQ, chairs, spa tub, etc.
- Double brink BBQ and equipment are provided for guest-use
- Free firewood and fire starters are available at the guest's prior request
- We also supply homegrown mandarins, lemons, and limes if it is in season only
- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- Pamper yourself in our outdoor jacuzzi while you enjoy the beautiful sceneries around the property. To get access, you will need to book your slot for 1-hour use. Kindly enquire with your host for arrangement prior to your arrival as spa tub takes up to 3 hours to warm up. Please don't forget to turn bubbles (jets) off after use and bring the towels back to the tiny house.
Restriction guidelines
- Communication with the host will be via SMS ONLY
- CHILDREN ARE NOT ALLOWED as the property is a farm hazard that may be a danger to them
Guest guidelines
- Guests are free to feed the horses and ducks at the dam
- Guests are advised to follow the safety guidelines discussed with the land host
- When roaming around the property, we ask guests to keep their voices down to avoid startling the horses
- We recommend guests to wear comfortable clothes as this is a working farm that cares for farm animals, specifically horses
Pets Policy
- Any damage done by pets shall be payable by the guests
- Pets are not allowed on beds and sofas, and clean after pet faeces
- Pets are allowed but must be kept on lead at all times as there are horses and wildlife on the property
- Please take note to inform your land host 24 hrs in advance if you plan to bring your pets to our property
Important note:
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- In order to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our compost toilets a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a hygienic experience during your stay.
