Once a fisherman’s cottage, Lakeview Cottage has since been refurbished into a cozy holiday home that has retained plenty of its original charm. With truly spectacular views from all vantage points, this property is a picture-perfect place to kick back and relax.

The Space:
The property boasts three bedrooms, each with built-in robes, with a queen bed, double bed, and set of bunk beds to choose from. With a split-system air-conditioner in the living room and main bedroom, as well as fans in each of the remaining bedrooms, the Lakeview Cottage is built for holidays all year round.

You’ll love the cottage’s traditional charm, including the original kitchen layout, high ceilings, natural light, and impeccably kept wooden floors. The perfect intersection of old and new, you’ll be amazed by how the cottage’s historical features blend in seamlessly with its modern updates. The kitchen is a prime example of this, with its refurbished bench tops and modern appliances, including an oven, microwave, dishwasher, milkshake maker, blender, and coffee pod machine, settled alongside the vintage cabinetry and exposed brick finishings of the original kitchen setting.

The front deck of the cottage turns into your own private lookout over the sparkling waters of Lake Budgewoi, the prime place for a morning coffee or an afternoon of reading. You can also retreat to the cottage’s peaceful sunroom and continue to take in the incredible views, no matter what the weather has in store. You will also love the extra entertaining area at the back of the cottage, perfect for drinks and nibbles, which run onto the cottage’s lush backyard. The cozy living room is designed for chilling out and has plenty of entertainment options to choose from, including TV, Foxtel, DVDs, and boardgames.

The cottage also includes a fully functioning laundry, complete with a washing machine and dryer, and an outside clothesline for convenience. Onsite parking is also available during your stay.

The location of this peaceful lakeside cottage is truly exceptional, being within walking distance of the Toukley Golf Course and the local Club Toukley. Many of the local clubs also offer door-to-door shuttle bus services for your convenience. Getting Around:
The cottage’s prime location and the local shuttle buses in the area are ideal for travellers, however, we recommend guests have access to a vehicle to be able to soak up what Toukley and its surrounds have to offer.

Air Con: The air conditioner in the lounge room is not functioning and has not been for many years. To ensure you can stay nice and cool in summer and warm in winter we have installed a large & powerful air conditioner in the front sunroom, it has the capacity to heat or cool both rooms and works perfectly.

Noise Policy: We always follow strict noise regulations and ask you to be respectful and considerate. Strictly no parties or gatherings are to be held in this property. Any breach of these regulations may result in eviction without a refund of the remaining funds or deposit.

Age Limit: We do not accept reservations for groups with travelers under the age of 23 years unless a specific exception has been approved. Travelers under the age of 23 that are traveling with a family group with a parent are more then welcome to stay with us.

Supplies: A complimentary welcome pack will be provided that includes several single-use items to get you started including tea, coffee, sugar, creamer, soap, laundry, and dishwashing supplies. For extended stays, please bring extra provisions.
