Our stay

We would stay here again and again. The location is amazing and can not be beat. The apartment had enough room for all 4 of us (and a few nights 5) to have our space and live comfortably for 2 weeks. The communication with the rental unit was fantastic and the few minor issues we had, they ere addressed right away. With that being said, the unit is dated. And needs a bit of a makeover. Both bathrooms need some work (the toilet is coming off the wall and the shower heads are not installed properly). We used the apartment only to sleep. We did not have any intention of using the kitchen and the few times we did, there is not much there. There was not paper towels or garbage bags (or shampoo or conditioner). It is VERY bare. Again, the location is AMAZING and I would stay there again in a heart beat. It just needs a little love from the owner.

Good Location But Lot of Issues

I rented this property for the location having rented in Kfar David before, and expected a clean, well-equipped apartment. Microwave, range top and oven had baked on food, dishwasher was dirty and had unwashed dishes in it. Kitchen had limited dishware and almost no pots, pans and cooking utensils. Second bathroom does not have a hot water connection for the sink. This property looks "old and dated" and needs to be freshened. Photos did not reflect the true conditions. I did not list all the issues, just the major ones.

Be aware before booking -

Beautifully located apartment but … be aware of construction in the apartment next door. Plus to be extremely loud , all dust was in the apartment. We had to open windows because air conditioning wasn’t working. Dust was all over -in side of closets as well on arrival . Had to clean all hangers before unpacking. Basically 8 am each morning we had to run away from apartment. Plus to current issues, place needs to be updated: toilet and bath are shaking when in use and all scratched and damaged. Photos look great . Reality is different. Contacted management with issues with air conditioning and hot water absence one day am - they appeared late evening. Family reunion dinner was ruined because someone has to stay home and wait for repair guy. We felt like the owner should offer us some kind of compensation or discount on “stay “ and he promised once he called but disappeared forever after 1 conversation. It was more issues than that but listed above are the most important

Lovely apartment close to the mall and the Wall.

This is a perfectly located luxuriously furnished two bedroom apartment across the street from the Mamilla mall around the corner from the David Citadel Hotel. It is super safe super nice and super convenient to everything you want to do in Jerusalem.
