The Space:
When looking for a getaway in Torquay, location is everything. This is the perfect beach house for that
hassle-free weekend away or extended holiday in highly prized 'Old Torquay'. All within a few minutes
walk to Fisherman's Beach, Taylor Park, cafes, supermarkets, medical facilities and the bowls club, this home is truly all about location.
Comprising open plan living, two bedrooms, good sized bathroom, separate toilet and laundry, the huge rear yard gives the kids plenty of room to run and play. Pet friendly by request at the time of booking, pet fee $50.
The open plan layout centres around the Coonara fireplace. There is a split system in the living area & each bedroom has a portable heater. Comfy lounges provide a relaxed setting to watch TV (Smart TV with Netflix connectivity). The dining table seats 6, and a brekky bar is perfect for informal meals. The kitchen is in great original condition, including an electric oven, fridge, microwave and Aldi coffee pod machine (starter pods provided, please buy more as required). The east-facing deck flows out from the living, kitchen and dining area, where outdoor seating and a Weber BBQ set the scene for relaxed, outdoor living.
All beds are made up with hotel quality sheets and bath towels. Please BYO beach towels. The master bedroom features a Queen bed with built-in robe. The kids will love the Twin Single beds. An additional fold out bed is available by request for this room, at an extra fee for linen. Please inform us at the time of booking.
