Haven at Caves - Beachside villa with ocean views

With an undeniable laidback coastal aesthetic, this beach Haven is the perfect solution for an out-of-town getaway. Be on the sand within seconds or enjoy the sunrise and ever-changing colours as you sit on the deck watching the waves crash onto the shore. The open plan living and kitchen area all enjoy water views and you can enjoy your breakfast on the large undercover deck or cook a BBQ after swimming at the beach or at the resort-style pool.

The kingsize master suite has plenty of space, including a walk-in robe and an ensuite. The second bedrooms has two single beds. At night, relax in the soft comfort of the pillow-style sofas in the air-conditioned living area and watch a movie or stroll to the local restaurant or IGA, or coffee shop. The guests will be able to access the entire property as well as the shared pool of Caves Beach resort.

Caves Beach is well known for its namesake - a network of sea caves at the southern end of the beach, which can be explored at low tide. There also is Frenchmans Beach, Hams Beach and Spoons Beach (which is a smaller beach). Caves Beach is patrolled in the warmer month and offers well maintained barbecue facilities and a picnic area. There is also a Kiosk with hot and cold foods, drinks and lollies for the kids. On your way down to the beach, you also pass an IGA, Gelato and The Mawson which is great for a couple of casual drinks and a great meal. Bring the family down to Caves Beach for a great day out.

location was great, the house is nice, need a good clean a lot of dust, under the sofa pillows was dirty, the cleaners need to do better job.

Not as relaxed as I want

The place had issues. A spare doona was dry urine soaked both sides, the bathroom hand wash soap was topped up with water instead of adding more soap, the outside downstairs shower to get rid of sand was covered in weeds & surrounding area garden not maintained at all. The timber Venetian doors are both off the tracks & extremely hard to close, my wife couldn’t I had to all the time. Both couches were covered in grey dog or human hair. I called to complain about these things to the property manager & asked if there was another cabin she could give me & the first thing she said is if you leave now I can give you a full refund! I complained & that’s the first thing she said to me, seriously? And then she Said I can have someone there at 9am to clean the property, I said I can’t confirm as we are here to relax on a weekend away, she said she can only do 9am or cancel the cleaning crew, so I had no choice to cancel them, & stay in a dirty apartment. I then asked her to stop messaging me so we can try to enjoy the rest of the weekend but she kept texting, one being reminder to check out at 10am, we already knew this. I want someone to call me regarding my stay as it was a very poor experience

A bit pricey, but worth it because we were close to other family also staying here for family reunion. Views of beach and surf and well equiped kitchen.
