A private family haven which strikes the perfect balance between nostalgic and coastal contemporary style, the home has been superbly updated throughout, showcasing modern finishes which enhance the homes original character features including double hung windows, beautiful lead lighting, ornate cornices, a heritage style open fireplace and picturesque storybook windows upstairs.

Offering two living areas, plus four generously appointed bedrooms, two bathrooms and two powder rooms equally allocated over each level, the heart of the home is the main open plan living area downstairs. Anchored by a stunning contemporary kitchen with vast island bench and walk in pantry, bi-fold doors open to an idyllic entertaining deck with hypnotic sound of waves crashing just over the sand dunes behind.

Outside a wonderland of winding pathways lead either to the beach or down to a childrens play area abutting a separate, self-contained pool house that has its own kitchen, living space and powder room, ideal for guests or a teenage retreat. The bungalow overlooks the amazing 10 mt pool with solar heating that is fully fenced. A truly unique coastal property located within easy proximity to everything the Southern Peninsula has to offer, it also features a carport for 2 with easy access from the road, an alarm system, plus split systems and wall panel heating throughout.

NB. The garage is not for use.

Not a Dream Property

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Firstly, we loved the look, character and location of this house and all it had to offer as described by Jellis Craig. Sadly, the reality of what we were to find fell well below expectations. To be confronted with months, if not years of dust, dirt and stains was wholly unacceptable. The accumulated dirt inside the fridge, dishwasher, oven, kitchen and bathroom cabinets and furnishings was disgusting! There were dead bugs inside the bathroom cabinets and cupboards!!! They did not appear overnight. The property was in an unacceptable condition and certainly not as described by Jellis Craig. We have rented properties in the Mornington peninsula on 5 previous occasions and have NEVER experienced a property in such a poor state of cleanliness. Sadly, the property did not offer the luxury experience claimed, despite the hefty price tag! It was also abundantly clear that Jellis Craig had NOT inspected the property in a very long time! It is a spectacular misuse of language to describe the kitchen as “stunning and contemporary”. We were certainly stunned - but not in a good way! We have the photographic evidence, if required.Jellis Craigs’ advertising material describes their Mornington peninsula rental properties thus: - .....“We offer properties that our own families would love to holiday in and aim to curate an unforgettable experience”......and ”All properties are inspected before check-in and after departure to ensure peace of mind”.When we alerted Jellis Craig to the poor condition of the property we asked to be moved to an alternative property. We were told that there were none available. So, we had no alternative but to stay and clean up the property as best we could. What a way to start your holiday!!!

Wonderful place for a family getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for the weekend as 3 families with young kids and the place was perfect for our stay and group size. Plenty of space. The pool was the absolute highlight and so were the dinners out on the beautiful veranda. Things to note are: the beach is beautiful but rough. Not suitable for young children and also quite adventurous to walk there with little ones in tow. Travelling with very young children you might need to bring babygates and block access to stairs on the veranda. The grown ups missed a decent coffee machine, but other than that we were very happy and will gladly come back.

Les points forts : Propreté, arrivée, communication, emplacement et exactitude de l’annonce

The house, location and property were absolutely stunning! Felt at home right away.

We could not have been happier with our stay here, the private access from the balcony to the beach and the most stunning views elevated our getaway beyond imagination. The beds and linen were not only provided but top quality and extremely comfortable. Full sized hair and body wash provided was not expected. We were also left a bottle of wine, a gift from short stayz and a case of locally brewed beers. The house felt like home the minute me entered. The photos definitely do not do it justice. Cannot wait to visit here again.
