Gertie's A is a vibrant, fully equipped island duplex. Just steps from the white sands and turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Dine on your private fenced in patio with gas grill or just enjoy Anna Maria Island local restaurant. Take a short stroll to the beach and enjoy picturesque sunsets, unwind at the several restaurants, or browse the shops and stores all within a short walk. One bedroom, one bath and kitchen, and breakfast area. The living room features a Florida legacy with its beautiful Terrazzo floors, cable TV, wireless internet access and has a pull out couch with additional sleeping for 2. After a day at the beach immerse yourself into the comfortable King size Beautyrest PressureSmart InfiniCool mattress new as of June 2023. Take it easy, hang loose, and soak up the sun here at your tropical oasis Gertie's A.
Dogs are welcome. Pet fee is $200 per pet plus taxes.

The mattress is awful. A king bed in 1 bedroom makes since. The couch at a minimum needs to be cleaned. My brother was in B and there is NO Umbrella on the table! A very inexpensive upgrade.

Awesome Location / Its not the Hilton

Basically you get what you pay for. This unit was clean when we arrived but just out dated. Owner needs to put some TLC into this place but will probably charge more. The Property Management Company were very good and check in/out simple. Beware of the Sofa Bed... It is what it is about 3 inches of padding and you will feel the springs. I had to buy a mattress pad from walmart and extra pillows. The other bed was fine. Overall OK place if you are spending most of your time out and about and not hanging around this unit all day.

GREAT location but a couple things to note

We’ve been to AMI a couple times , we know we want a beach house located in walking distance of the beach as well as grocery , drug store , restaurants, etc. This house is a prime location. Beach path is across the street , house is in a quiet, clean and beautiful neighborhood. It’s about in close proximity of the best shops, restaurants, bars. The rental house was fully stocked with necessary household items- especially in the kitchen as well as 2 rolls of paper towels and toilet paper. It had the right amount of different sized bath towels for 2 people. Our only complaints were that the back patio didn’t look as appealing as the pictures. The lounge chair featured in the picture wasn’t at our unit, the patio didn’t offer too many amenities aside from a grill, metal table, umbrella and 2 metal chairs . As a personal preference for people who enjoy hanging on a patio - we would have liked more lounge chairs or outdoor rugs or even decorative features. The back patio is a small closed in area with a privacy fence so it would have been more enjoyable at meal time to have these amenities I listed above. When the sun is beating down on the concrete on the patio, it made very uncomfortable to walk around out back so a outdoor rug would have been nice. Another minor complaint is regarding the bed . This is more of a personal preference again, but it was a bit stiff to sleep on. The quilt and bed sheet didn’t exactly make it more comfortable either. If you’re someone who needs a more “plush” bed spread and pillows or softer bed I would be mindful of this.
