French doors open to sunny patio & garden, dedicated to this unit. Great location! 1 block from bustling Piedmont Ave. Walk to cafes, restaurants, shops, groceries, and transportation. While there's not parking on site, there's ample free street parking nearby.

The space:
This garden-level apartment is designed to feel like home. An open living-kitchen greatroom is spacious and well-lit. The queen sized bed is comfortable, and blackout curtains for the bedroom windows give the option to cocoon and rest, even during the day. The kitchen has full amenities including cooks' appliances like an instant pot and mini-prep. There is ample storage in the walk-in closet, plus your own laundry/utility space. The apartment is well insulated and quiet.

We provide a few household essentials to get your stay started comfortably. If you're here for a longer stay, you may find that you'll need to replenish some consumables. We do provide cleaning supplies, and, we are also happy to arrange a cleaning service during your stay, at cost. Our provider is excellent and uses only nontoxic supplies. Other details to note:
Our home is directly above the apartment. It's been recently remodeled and soundproofed, but during the day you'll hear some steps, muffled voices, and occasional doggy play. If you have an unusual schedule or need quiet at specific times, just let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate.

My spouse and I work from home, and are on site most of the time. I'm available by app, msg, or phone, or just knock on our front door! We're happy to say hi and answer questions about the apartment, the neighborhood, or the area. Got a particular kitchen tool or other need? Just ask, we probably have it covered. Neighborhood description:
The Piedmont Avenue neighborhood is friendly, very walkable, close to cafes, restaurants, shops and transportation. Walk Score® 97 / 100, Transit Score® 51 / 100 (Good Transit), Bike Score® 66 / 100 (Bikeable). Kaiser, Alta Bates Summit, and Children's Hospital are each about a mile away. Three miles to the UC Berkeley Campus.

Easy all day street parking is available 200 feet away. MacArthur and Rockridge BART stations are each just over 1 mi away, the AC Transit 51 and 12 busses are within blocks.

Stairs:
There are two steps from the street to the patio entrance, then two steps to the patio. Within the unit itself there are no stairs.
