The apartment was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay but there were a number of things listed that weren't actually present in the apartment.
The cooker and hob didn't work. It was disruptive for us to have people come to the apartment to look at it and then again to deliver a new one but even then it was left disconnected.
Other things mentioned in the listing that weren't present included:
- A terrace: this was locked and not accessible with either of the keys provided.
- The WiFi wasn't great and didn't extend to the second room. i.e. we could only access it in the kitchen. The signal came and went.
- We didn't see any hair dryer.
- The coffee maker was missing the coffee pot, which is needed for it to work properly. There was a Mokka pot but we couldn't use it without the stove.
- I didn't see an ironing board
- No information was provided about the "coin laundry".
- There were no hot and cold taps. The only way to get warm water was from the shower.
- There was also no kettle, so we didn't have a way to boil water with the cooker / hob not working.
We appreciated the host's recommendations and he replied when I messaged him, but overall I think he could have been more proactive with providing information.
There was no information provided about how to access the property and the WiFi etc. in advance so I was trying to get in touch with him on the day and had to go through VRBO, which itself wasn't a great experience.
