Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by the sight of our charming lake house, views of the lake, sounds of waterfalls, and a private pond. Surrounded by lush greenery and framed by the beauty of nature, this retreat promises an unforgettable experience.

The space
The interior of the house has newer furniture, wireless internet, wood burning fireplace, coffee bar, 65" television with all the regular streaming service apps, Bluetooth sound system, and is geared to make you and your family/friends as comfortable as possible.

Waterfalls: Explore the wonders of our property, where you'll discover hidden waterfalls near the gazebo. Lose yourself in the mesmerizing sound of water as you unwind in the natural beauty that surrounds you.

Pond: The 1/4 acre pond offers a serene retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, making it the perfect spot for a rejuvenating getaway in the heart of Kentucky's countryside. The pond will be stocked June 1st 2024. This fish will be on the smaller side so it will be catch and release only for now. But your kids will love it!

Gazebo: Step into our charming gazebo offering a space to relax and unwind. Whether you're sipping your morning coffee or enjoying a romantic sunset, this spot is perfect for relaxation.

Wrap-around Deck: Experience the ultimate in outdoor living with our expansive wrap-around deck. Adorned with comfortable seating and views, it's the ideal setting for dinner and drinks.

The property does have lake views and is technically "on the water." However, there isn't walkable lake access. The property sits high up on cliffs which is pretty typical for a lot of Lake Cumberland homes.

Washer/Dryer and detergent provided

Children's toys, children's books, and board games provided.

There is a steep gravel hill as you enter/exit the property. Maintain a good speed on the gravel while leaving the property.

You are two miles from the closest public boat ramp. (Cumberland Glen)

There are two exterior cameras. One is facing the front exterior door for security purposes. The other is facing the property to assess landscaping needs throughout the year.

Perfect place to get away

This is the perfect place to get away from it all. The gazebo, wrap around porch, and balcony are the perfect places to relax and listen to the waterfall & nature! The living room, bedrooms & bathrooms were all clean and tidy. The outside lighting is perfect. The drive is a bit bumpy down a steep driveway. Justin is an awesome host and replies quickly to any questions/concerns. The house is cozy and essentials like toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, dishwasher pods & laundry pods are provided. There is a local “grocery” store (about 3 miles away) that has a little of everything & even has a deli, ice cream, sandwiches & pizza.

Middle of nowhere fun!

This is a great stay if you want somewhere without modern technology. Beautiful property and home, great for outdoors fun. WARNING: the owners are not lying when they tell you to get a nice speed going up the hill to leave property. STEEP HILL! Also know that there is not immediate access to lake. It is just from viewing distances only. The closest town is quite a while away even though it's only like 11 miles it will take 20-30 minutes to get there. WiFi is essentially non existent. So keep this in mind if you will be bringing small children and pre teens. Half wanted to explore land while the tween used up all the service. I also could only get WiFi calling which is very spotty. All in all a pleasurable stay with the owner getting back to me immediately with every message I sent him! A++++ hosts!

Beautiful views

The home is welcoming. The fireplace was cozy and the beds very comfortable. We enjoyed the lake views from the swing and gazebo. The driveway instructions were helpful.

We are the Brownell family! We currently live in Colorado and it has been our dream to have a lake house for some time. My wife, Kim grew up vacationing on Lake Cumberland as a child. And we decided it would be the perfect location for our family to vacation as well as many others to host. We are both nurses. My daughter loves the gazebo as her playhouse. And my son loves looking for new waterfalls in the area.
