Bring the family and get away from the city to enjoy a cabin in the hills of Kentucky. You can enjoy the woods and wildlife from the porch or get closer to it and take a walk on the 20 acres of mostly wooded property. After you are done relaxing, you'll be close to Somerset and Lake Cumberland with plenty of activities for the family all year round. Barn access available upon request to store your boat(s) or recreational vehicles while you stay.
Lovely, welcoming cabin with all the modern amenities, yet giving a relaxing, calming feel. The problem was that wasps kept coming in. It was unnerving and we left a couple of days early.
Lovely property and not hard to get to. Very clean and updated. Love the floor plan of the place. The only issue is wifi wasnât working very well but no fault of the owners. Probably location. Nothing to not be expected.
We enjoyed the 6 nights we spent in this cute quite cabins. The porch was peaceful and the location was good for all the exploring of the area that we did.
The cabin was so clean and perfectly nestled in the woods. Very quiet and peaceful. Perfect for our family and friends. The teenagers loved the separate living quarters. Just a short 15 minute drive to Lake Cumberland Marina. Owners were lovely and very responsive. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this cabin.
My boys and I enjoyed our stay here. There was more than enough room for the 3 of us and it was close to Wolf Creek Marina which is what I was looking for. The place was clean and accommodating.
Chrissy and David are world travelers who have settled down in Kentucky to raise their 5 boys. Life is busy with homeschooling, work, and running several businesses in the area. David works for Deeper Walk International as webmaster and IT guru and creates hand-thrown pottery on the side (stay at the cabin and you'll see some of his work). Chrissy is a massage therapist and mother extraordinaire.
Our cabin is the ultimate getaway from the busyness of life. Enjoy the authentic cabin feel with modern conveniences to make visits relaxed and chill. We love to sit on the front porch to play games and chat with friends and family. Or a slow walk through the woods and see and hear all of the creatures while giving the brain a break.
