Enjoy the privacy of your own casita nestled on our organic farm. Awake to chickens announcing the new day. Plenty of space for a casual stroll with mountain views in all four directions. Two covered patios and an outdoor grill are perfect for outdoor living. Inside your casita is appointed to help you feel right at home. You’ll find the refrigerator with your choice of milk, juice and 1/2&1/2, and the cupboard stocked with cereals, coffee and tea.
Located on Four Directions Farm, you have a 360* view of spectacular mountain peaks. From Grand Mesa to the north and the Uncompadre range to the south you have the West Elks to the east and the Uncompadre Plateau to the west. There’s gold medal fishing on the Gunnison River just 15 minutes away. Local wineries offer a great tasting experience. Plus there is hiking, biking, skiing (in season), bird watching and pretty much anything else you can think of. The local towns average a 20 minute drive and offer some fine restaurants.

Beautiful accommodarions

Casa Encantada is so beautiful with amazing vistas during the day and incredible stars in the night sky. The home is very well appointed, we felt cozy and safe and private and comfortable in the adobe rooms! The showers are super nice, the coffee and breakfast were wonderful, rhe fireplace was so amazing, the courtyard and outdoor dining are lovely and the whole experience felt like someone was taking care of us. Thank you Marilee!!!

Peaceful & Private

We loved staying at Casa Encantada! It had 2 outside seating areas, one to watch the sunrise and the other to watch the moonrise. It was quiet and cozy. Easy drive to the North side of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison. I highly recommend a visit. Marilee left the fridge stocked with farm fresh eggs, milk, half & half, as well as coffee and cereal. Quite a treat for starting the day off without having to venture out. It was just lovely.

Perfect Colorado Getaway!!

Amazing location! It’s right among a bunch of farms and is a quant little cash compound perfect for relaxing with your spouse on a weekend getaway. Highly recommend!

Retreat on the Mesa

Beautiful adobe home. We stayed here to attend a family memorial service. This home gave us a comforting peaceful retreat. Step into the home and you are in another world with lovely southwest decor. Farm fresh eggs and dairy in the morning. A fire in the fireplace most evenings was warm and welcoming. It felt like home. Thank you to our exceptional hosts!
