We enjoyed our 1 out of 2 night reservation ! Had to leave early dew to shooting near by! Would have been peaceful if not for that . Also in the pics the creek was cleaned and trimmed up when we were there was all overgrown not many places to just relax in the creek ?!
My stay at Kisercreek was great! Its a nice and clean and very quiet. I wanted to arrive before the sun went down, cause i knew it was going to be dark out, WOW, I forgot what dark out really was after being in Vegas all these years. Lol Had no issues ckecking in or out, it was nice that they just let me stay and take care of my business. The beds was comfortable and it had all the amenities it said it would and i had no need for anything else. The first morning I woke up i open the curtains and doors to soak in all the beauty, quietness and fresh air and just relaxe listening to the babbling of the creek. It felt awesome to soak all that in and forget about all the hustle and bustle of everyday life. While making breakfast I heard the clucking of a chicken, i turned around and there was this white Roaster just tall enough to look inside. It made laugh and put a hudge smile I my face cause it brought back old memories of growning up in Colorado and what an easy life it was. He just watch me and was clucking away, like he was telling me GOODMORNING! and like clock work he was there eveymorning wishing me a good day. Looks like I made new friend during my stay. Lol What a great place to stay. Thank you for allowing me to stay and use your place.
loved the tiny house and creekside setting. but, had awkward time figuring out how to check in and know what to do wrt oven range which did not work(propane shut off somewhere?) so no coffee. never saw host or had any instructions left to ask owner anything even by phone. but very clean and bathroom/water worked fine. would go again if above fixed.
Unfortunately I have two complaints concerning my stay. Everything was as advertised. However our experience included a barking dog on the property at 2am that no one made any attempt to silence. We finally got back to sleep around 3am only to be awakened at 8:15 to an hours worth of gun fire, also on the property. For the record I own guns and dogs! And I was still upset. Canât imagine someone from the cityâs response to gunfire. Or if you travel with pets scared of fireworks and gunfire like mine. Fortunately my dogs were left home on this trip. Of course your results will vary. On the positive side. The host was very gracious to allow us an early check in on request. Everything was as advertised, the price was wonderful.
I loved being by Kiser Creek. The place was extremely clean. I met the called who did the cleaning and she was very nice. There was a mix-up on VRBO and,I did not get the total information on which uouse I I was in. I had to call the owner and he was not courteous, in fact he was rude. Not the host you would want. I shook it off and enjoyed my stay. If you are going to rent.to the public you have to know mux ups can happen. I flew in from Texas and drove 5 hours to get there. It is an isolated place and I was alone ans it was almost dark. He was not nice in fact he was rude. The pkace was comfortable and I liked the location. Great gal who keeps the place clean and .
We loved this place! Quiet setting with just the sound of the stream outside your door. House was clean and equipped with everything you would need! We brought some groceries for our weekend getaway and forgot 2 important thingsâŠ. Ice and a cork popper for our wine! Opened the freezer and there was a new bag of ice and opened the drawer and there was a corkscrew!! Saved the evening!! Thank you so much for our amazing getaway!
Faulty air conditioning, no water pressure, and a significant dead animal smell coming from under the tiny home- these were significant issues.
There was an extremely helpful maintenance man on sight who was really nice and as helpful as he could be- five stars for him!
Great location and loved the sound of the creek going by- but the rotting smell made even that a challenge.
The property was very clean the host was spot on with everything including wood for the fire pit. We had ice in the freezer and a gracious honest, Mt date was awlful. Dropped her at the airport in montrose airport but even that was only a 30 minute ride. Thank you it was amazing 5 plus stars.
The only complaint would be that we could not stay longer. What a cute little home. The stream running right outside the door provides a very peaceful setting. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had what we needed. The description and pictures in the listing are spot on.
Though we never met the hosts in person, Nikki and Stone were pleasant, helpful, responsive and kind. We have already recommended this home to family and have filed it away for a future getaway. Thank you both.
This tiny home is perfect for a vacation. This property sits in a beautiful location with an amazing view of the mountains. Such a unique and neat experience as this was out first time in a tiny home. The property was immaculate and the process was super convenient. I would recommend this to everyone. It definitely was a 10/10 experience!
I purchased this for my parents as a mothers day gift. Everything was fine except the bed. Could feel springs and hard as a rock. My parents staying one of the two nights I purchased. Not complaining, more of a suggestion.
