The host made this experience one of the worst stays I have ever had. The host was so argumentative, and rude. I contacted them the first day because the front door lock was not working properly, it took them a day to respond. I want to this They put me and my family in harms way, by giving the code to a person who did not live there. (This was done without notice and my permission) The Ad stated the home slept 8. However, we were unable to use the sleeper sofa, because it had dead bugs and some sort of animal wraped into the mattress. I requested a portion of my money back.. I am still waiting for it. There were other issues with home, flying bugs, sink not working water turned off, plumbing issues, dirty pots, refrigerator dirty, unable to use freezer because it would not open. In addition, She refused to give me the password to the internet, yard was unkept, broken window, broken back patio door (they had a bar attached to door to lock it) two of the rooms closet were cluttered, unable to use. I & VRBO attempted to work it out with the host, but she just tried to justify her actions and the property. I will say VRBO, attempted to get this host to corporate, but failed. This host was horrible. As a matter of fact VRBO offered me $220. I want half of my money back from the host. The home was not ready to rent out. I value my safety, and my peace of mind. This host made my stay unbearable. The requests I made were not unreasonable. I paid to have a nice stay As VRBO advertised. I work hard for my money, this HOST never. Apologize for her actions. She made my stay a living nightmare. I am still Angry about how me and family was treated. This HOST is very abusive. I took pictures of the place before I moved in and after I moved out. I just want half of my money back so I can plan another trip with my family.
