Travel is 5-12 minutes from Hyde Park shops, Oakley, Xavier, UC, OTR, Bengals Stadium, and Downtown. Amenities include additional living room, balcony in the master bedroom. 4K HDTV’s with Netflix and Hulu fast internet and more.

Don't waste your money! The host was difficult to work with...no communication until after the travel agent called VRBO several times. Lots of "rules" sent the day of our check in. This property is in terrible shape & very unlike the pictures. Anything that needed plugged in was plugged in with multiple extension cords. The front door knob was very loose and easy to open the door, even when locked. Has 2 bathrooms but only one shower with a curtain. The kitchen table had one leg that was unattached from the table and another that was barely attached. The couch broke when a family member stood up, which shows me that it was previously broken. If we had broke it, the couch would have broke when they sat down not when they stood up. The host texted and called multiple times to accuse us of breaking their couch. Our first horrible experience with a VRBO booking!

Good Experience

Appropriate for a guys' trip but I wouldn't necessarily have my wife or family stay. Hosts communicate well. Nothing was wrong per se, but VRBO isn't as explicit about certain details as ABNB. We were surprised by a few things that show up differently in the pics than in real life

Decent Place

My sister, brother in-law, wife, 3 yo daughter, and I stayed for four days for a funeral. The property was comfortable and well equipped. The beds were comfortable. My daughter loved the bunk beds. There was some stuff left by the last tenant that hadn't been cleaned up as well as a bean bag busted open with beans everywhere. We could have used more towels for how many people we had for 3 nights. Overall it was as expected, not too far from anywhere, and cozy.

Worked out ok, but not again

Neighborhood was nice and quiet, even beside railroad and highway. House had not been cleaned properly (glitter/confetti in several places throughout) or sheets changed (marks on sheets that came out when we washed them--so they aren't "stains"--something we'd rather not be doing after a long travel day). To be fair, there was a change of plans, so perhaps the owners weren't ready for that reason, but since another family had booked this house and canceled upon viewing a broken bathroom door, I find it hard to believe they wouldn't have "cleaned" it prior to that viewing and cancellation. (Side note: the previous house we'd booked was in one of the WORST areas we've ever driven through, much less stayed in. Thankfully, the A/C wasn't working, so the owner offered this house to us for the same rate as the one in the bad area--hence the change mentioned.) Not enough towels or clean linens for the amt of people it sleeps. No shower storage for toiletries. No toaster, broom/dust pan, salt & pepper, kitchen wash cloths, minimal dishes/utensils. Ice maker didn't work. I understand the reason behind the barn doors for the bathrooms, but with baseboard trim preventing a good closure, there was not much privacy. This is an "ok" property due to several things not yet finished--I got the impression they're working on things and are new to the program, so things are likely to improve. But the cleanliness/sheets are a big deal to me, and we are not likely to choose this property again.
