The Space:
This two-bedroom, two-bathroom home features all the comforts of the home as well as some incredible HOA amenities providing all you need for the ultimate Tahoe getaway with family and friends. Connect with your group in the intimate living/dining/kitchen area before tucking in for the night in the two quiet bedrooms. The great location of this home makes it is wonderful home base for the ultimate Tahoe getaway any time of the year.
Enter into the beautifully remodeled home where you will first come to a tiled entryway with bench seating and storage to keep your outdoor gear. The fully equipped kitchen is directly ahead of the entryway and features ample counter and cabinet space, and a high kitchen bar with two bar stools ideal for grabbing a snack or keeping the chef company. The social and open floorplan lets the chef stay connected to the group while you prepare a tasty meal. Directly next to the kitchen is the dining area where you will find a table with seating for six placed next to large windows providing great views to enjoy while you dine. Rounding out the open floor plan is the living room where you will find a sectional couch that can be pulled out to a full-size bed, a comfortable lounge chair, and a 48” TV. Fully relax in this space by the wood fireplace as you take in the rustic cabin ambiance and connect with your group after a busy day of adventures.
When you are ready to tuck in for the night just off the kitchen is a hallway that will lead you to the two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The first bedroom located at the end of the hallway on the left is the master bedroom which features a queen-size bed, closet and dresser space for storing personal items, a TV, and an ensuite bathroom. The master bathroom is a full bathroom with a single-sink vanity and a shower/bathtub combo with a sliding glass door. The second bedroom is located across the hallway on the right-hand side and includes a comfortable bunk bed in a log frame with a twin over queen, a dresser with a TV atop, and a large closet. The bedrooms are filled with natural light with multiple windows in both rooms. Conveniently located near the bedrooms is the second full bathroom, a bright and clean space with a beautiful large single-sink vanity, built-in shelving, and a walk-in shower. In the hallway, guests will also find a laundry closet with a stacked washer and dryer.
During the summer months enjoy the patio furniture and bbq located on the outside deck. Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire house, outdoor deck, and two parking places in the shared parking lot. Guests will also have access to the Tahoe Tavern HOA amenities which include a heated pool overlooking the lake (closed in the winter) tennis courts, a pier, a sandy beach, and walking trails throughout the property.

Whether you are looking for an out-doors launchpad or easy access to the beautiful town of Tahoe City, you cannot beat the location of this home! The home is located within the Tahoe Tavern properties providing HOA amenities and beautiful surroundings right outside your door. Take a stroll on one of the trails around Lake Tahoe, or catch the sunset from the pier. In the summer enjoy the shared lakeside pool and tennis courts. During the winter you are only 10 minutes from Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows Ski Resorts, and 8 minutes from Homewood Ski Resorts. Looking for a little less outdoor activity on your vacation? The cabin is only 5 minutes from Tahoe City where you will find great shopping, a small movie theater, outdoor concerts, a farmer’s market, grocery stores, and a wide variety of bars and restaurants. In the mood to walk to breakfast and coffee? The famous Tahoe House Bakery is just a two-minute walk away and you cannot beat their baked goods! Getting Around:
Centrally located just off HWY 89 and within walking distance of a public transportation stop you can comfortably get by without having a vehicle if needed. A three-minute walk will take you to the public transportation TART stop at Granlibakken Tahoe Tavern Entrance. This bus will take you to Tahoe City with a short bus ride where you can connect to locations such as Northstar California Resort. The home is also within walking distance of the seasonal night rider bus which provides free transportation services after the TART system stops running.
For those with a vehicle enjoy being close to HWY 89 and the quick access it provides to the beautiful surrounding areas with just a 20-minute drive to Truckee, less than 10 minutes to Paige Meadows, and a 5-minute drive to Tahoe City. In the winter time enjoy being only 15 minutes from the Olympic Valley Ski resort and 10 minutes from Alpine Meadows.

Please note that like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C.
If you are renting this home from November through March, please remember that there may be winter driving conditions, and a 4-wheel drive with all-terrain tires or snow chains for your 2-wheel drive tires might be necessary for safe travel. Even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days, side roads can still be icy and have snow on them. Please also be aware of long travel times and pass closures due to winter weather conditions.
If you are renting this home from April until the first snowfall there are NO fires allowed in Lake Tahoe.

• 50% of payment is due upfront and the rest of the payment is due (14) days before arrival.
• Booking Fee: We charge an additional, non-refundable fee of 2% of the total payment to cover the cost of booking processing.
• The credit card holder must provide a picture of the back and front of their ID via a secure and encrypted portal upon confirmation for fraud protection.
• Please promptly respond to any inquiries or requests for additional information to ensure the confirmation of your booking; failure to respond in a sufficient manner may lead to cancellation of the reservation.
