Our bungalows are located in Westpunt, a small fishing village in the quite west of the island, just 300m from the sea and close to our two national parks. From here you have a ideal starting point to relax on the beach, to go swimming, snorkeling, diving, hiking or to discover the island.

Our 8 detached guest bungalows are surrounded by a tropical garden, that is home to hummingbirds and other local animals. There is a beautiful pool, a cozy BBQ area and even a own dive base. Our guests will find a pleasant and quite atmosphere, as well as a high level of personal service. So everything to spend a perfect vacation ;)

Awesome Diving Vacation!

Our stay at Westhill bungalows was very enjoyable! We had everything that 3 adults needed for a comfortable stay. AC in the bedrooms made for a good night's sleep and breakfasting on the deck looking out at the ocean was sublime. Maren was always responsive to my ?s while planning and made our trip seemless by helping with our truck rental from Alex. (Note: not all roads are smooth driving!) The dive tanks on site from the dive center. Maren also gave us helpful recommendations for places to visit, where to go and park while visiting Willemstad and even making dinner reservations for us at a great local restaurant called Isabell's Off the Beach. Our stay gave us an authentic feel for Curacao living, feeling happy to have spent 2 weeks, sad to leave.

Nice access to beaches in the northwest

A few hiccups initially but Maren was very responsive. Property needs a little maintenance, but if you're not looking for a resort, and you just want a bungalow with easy access to all the beaches on the northwest side of the island, then this fits the bill. However, if you expect to spend time in Willemstad, be advised that this is a fairly long drive from there. We probably would have split time and rented a place for a few days within Willemstad itself. Be advised that main road near West Punt, and the coastal road accessing beaches between there and Lagun, really suck, and you have to be really careful about avoiding serious hazard potholes. The last little bit of road to the bungalows is also pretty rough, although fine if you take it slow. Rent an SUV if you can. Also ask Maren to explain the variation in how roundabouts work, especially the first one you encounter after leaving the airport - it's crazy. Tips - cover the temp display on the AC unit in bedrooms with masking tape or bandaids - it's a really bright blue light at night. Also - pick up shampoo and soap on the way from the airport - these are not provided. While on the main road from airport going north - just. stay. straight. and follow the signs to West Punt. Maps.me will try to send you on left turns at every opportunity, to get to the west side, which will make you have to negotiate the crappy road along the beaches between Lagun and West Punt. Stay straight to WP, then follow signs @ Pl Forti

Bungalows at Westpunt

These bungalows are sweet. The kitchen is furnished for easy stovetop cooking. The bedrooms have cooling units, which are very helpful. The area is very buggy. They provide insect repellent- very needed. The beds have mosquito netting. Maren is a wonderful property manager. We had lovely conversations.

A Little Piece of Paradise

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The bungalows are very comfortable and contained everything we needed for our stay in Westpunt. There is a well stocked kitchen and a BBQ where we were able to prepare meals. The pool was a lovely respite at the end of a day touring around to the local parks and beaches. Maren was very informative and helpful with suggestions for local activities and the facilities were very well managed. The gardens were lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful ocean view from our deck and watching the birds especially the beautiful hummingbird. The facility is gated and felt very safe and was very quiet. Maren was very generous with our check out time. We would love to visit again someday.

You are all the time welcome to come to my front desk for a coffee or a drink and a chat. I love to share my experience with you about this charming island. I am helping with finding the right beach for you, organizing a unforgettable adventure or making a reservation for a delicious dinner. Just let me know how I can assist.

And in case you cannot find me in my office, I am probably diving with one of my guests. I fell totally in love with the varied underwater world and even after years I still find new fascinating things. And of course our turtles at our home dive spot Grandi 😍
