Welcome to your VAKBNB! You will have this entire 2 bedroom apartment to yourself.

This space is designed for vacation/ business travelers who are searching for a home away from home with added amenities comparative to a hotel. This beachy, clean, cozy and unique space has EASY self check in, located in Hutchinson Island and enjoy having the beach as your back yard!

The engaging interior offers gorgeous decor and furniture throughout each room for a pleasing and comfortable atmosphere. The new and fully equipped kitchen is prepared to dish out whatever culinary creations you’d like to whip up, While the living areas will grant you and your loved ones a pleasant and unwinding spot at the end of the day.

Additionally, you will find all the necessary conveniences of home provided here, including dish ware, flatware, central air conditioning and heat and extra fans

Kick your day off on a high note by curling up in the morning with a warm cup of coffee and a good book in the living room. Post about your vacation on all of your social media apps , or log into your Netflix account to stream all your favorite shows and movies on our SMART flat-screen TV in your down time.

The place was exactly as described. The only slight complaint was that when taking a shower in the master bathroom the entire bathroom floor gets wet. But I just put a towel down. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. It was comfortable and quiet. Perfect and exactly what I was looking for.

So many problems, 1500 characters isn't enough: Host promised a “fully equipped kitchen” but there was 1 small sauce pan, and 2 small frying pans. No: mixing bowls, pot large enough to actually cook, colander, baking dishes, cookie sheet, broiler pan. Not even a potholder. No privacy curtain in the living room so anyone walking by could see right in. The floors were dirty: after a few minutes our feet and socks were brown. No mop to clean. The sliding door to the patio was corroded and didn't slide. The lock was corroded and unusable. An electrical socket in the living room was partly out of the wall, with no power, a potential safety hazard. Exposed conduits and pipes in many areas, with no drywall, with exposed nails. The host was extremely unresponsive, and never answered her phone. No response to our emails for almost 24 hours. She promised she would send the missing kitchen items the next day (Monday). Nothing was delivered. She next promised to personally deliver them Tuesday by 5:00 pm. By 6:45 pm I found a small package of kitchen items, half of what was on our list. This is an old building which is being renovated. Unfortunately, it is being rented before the renovations have been completed. We went for half of our stay there without a functioning kitchen! This was the worst VRBO experience we have ever had. Dealing with this consumed hours of what should have been a vacation. I would never consider staying at any properties owned or managed by this host.

Nice location, poor amenities

The property is located close to the beach. That was really the only good thing. The property was not what the pictures showed. Doors were rotten and didn’t shut well. You had to put a 2x4 in the slider to keep it from being opened as it does not lock. Condo was not very clean. There was a large ball of hair in the dresser drawer, the floors were dirty, and toe nail clippings on the floor. There also was no path to the beach. You had to walk across the neighbors yard and use their path. There is no view of the ocean or beach from the condo due to overgrowth of the plants behind the building. If you want to show up and have everything you need for the week and plan to cook…this place is not for you. The condo is not fully equipped. There was one small pot, a coffee pot, and 2 frying pans. There was also only dishes for 4. No mixing bowls, baking sheets, dish towels or dishcloths. There is now a toaster because we bought one and left it there. No oven mitts or potholders. There were 4 bath towels, 2 wash cloths, and 4 beach towels. Thankfully there was a nice washer and dryer. We also did not have any Wi-Fi for the last 3 days of the stay. There is only one TV in the condo and no cable. So without WiFi there was no TV to watch. Communication was not very good either. I’m not one to give a negative review and in all fairness, they are trying to make improvements. While we were there they did deliver a little patio set and replace the front doors (unfortunately we were only given 12 hours notice and they were hammering away at 8am on a Friday.) They also had someone come and cut down some of the overgrowth in the back. But you still can’t see the beach or ocean from the patio. Appliances were nice. Furniture was comfortable. Overall if you just want to be close to the beach and plan to bring everything that you need with you, it’s an ok place to stay.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Please remember this is FLORIDA. Humidity and hot weather is not unusual. We ask our guests to not lower the AC more than 70 degrees as it can cause the AC to freeze and stop working. Only creating an uncomfortable stay.

also, please remember this is Florida and with with Florida’s beautiful weather, it is not unusual for a small insect to sneak into the home. This home is professionally cleaned between each and every guest and professionally sprayed once a month. If you ever do encounter a situation of this kind please bring it to our attention immediately and we will have it resolved. To avoid this please keep all windows and doors shut as needed and all trash and food away and stored properly.
