Our Spanish-inspired home is located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. This beautiful home brings you lake and hill country views situated on one acre of hill country terrain. Find yourself immersed in the peace and serenity of the beautiful country living and gaze at the stars in the darkness at night from the decks. Feel like you have escaped from it all, while still being minutes away from Canyon Lake boat dock, Guadalupe River Tubing at the Horseshoe, Whitewater Amphitheater, and take a short trip to Gruene, New Braunfels, wineries, breweries, Guadalupe State Park, Blanco State Park, Wimberly, shopping at San Marcos, Natural Bridge Caverns and many other attractions in close proximity.

Indoors
Get welcomed by the beatiful Spanish-inspired chandelier in the 2-story foyer as you enter this Hill Country home. You will find ample seating, including a Queen sized sleeper sofa and 50" television. Property has high speed fiber internet. Take a break with a game of chess or checkers at the pub table. Fully equipped kitchen with many dishes, cookware and a dishwasher. Dining offers 4 seats with extra barstools for counter seating as well.
This 2 story home has 3 large bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The primary bedroom located on the first floor brings a king bed and remodeled bathroom complete with large walk-in shower with rain shower features and bench. Sliding door opens to the expansive outdoor deck.

The oversized 2nd and 3rd bedroom are found upstairs and share a hallway and jack and jill bathroom with en suite vanities. Both bedrooms have king size beds and one has twin over twin bunks while the other boasts full over full bunks. Smart TVs are located in each room. Each bedroom has a beautiful window with lake views and doors opening to the upstairs deck with seating to admire the lake view while enjoying your morning coffee or evening tea or cocktail.

The front porch has bench seating for views of the many deer that visit throughout the day. The outdoor deck is massive with lounge seating as well as a full dining table. Gorgeous rustic chandlelier and large outdoor fans make this your outdoor hill country dream. The four burner grill is perfect for those master chef grillers.

Take the limestone steps down to the grassy area for a camp fire in the fire pit. Lounge in the adirondack chairs and tell stories while making s'mores. This is the Hill Country dream all in one location!

Beautiful Place!

We had a wonderful stay. This house has plenty of room. It’s very secluded there’s five fabulous views off of the back patio. It's very close to whitewater. They also provided us with a wonderful Uber driver. A few of us girls came in for a concert. The host is so easy to work with and we had such a great time with a happy hour that they provided upon arrival. Very clean, nicely decorated and secluded. We had a wonderful time. This will be our go to place for now on! You will love it!

Canyon Lake Getaway

Overall, this house and the property management was pleasant. The location was fitting for what our group was in town for, just a weekend getaway. The only thing I wish could be improved was cleanliness. The bed sheets and towels had stains and almost looked unwashed upon arrival. The living room area rug had crumbs and other debris all over it, as well as the rest of the flooring in the house. The master bedroom tv also did not work. But other than that, the house was suitable.

Great stay!

A group of friends stayed here for a weekend. It was perfect! The space was clean, check in/out was easy. Everything we needed was provided. There were plenty of towels, kitchen utensils, household toiletries/cleaning items. The location was great, it was a short drive to the guadalupe. The only downside was the lack of Uber service. We tried to get an Uber from the house to a local bar on Saturday night and were unable to. The host did provided some numbers for taxing services, however the one number we reached out to did not answer. Definitely not the hosts fault, but just keep in mind if you are planning on using uber services when staying! Otherwise, this house is highly recommended!

We won’t be returning

The booking & check out process for this rental was more in depth than any other property we’ve ever stayed at. After booking you’ll be charged a 70$ hidden fee unless you’d like to have a 1500$ hold placed on a separate card than the one used to pay the rental. You’ll also have to fill out 2+ forms and send a separate card directly to the owners- including your security code- over email. While the booking process was sketchy, we chose to stick it out considering none of this info was communicated to us until after we booked- thereby surrendering 50% of the total fee in return. After that- the management company emailed me at least once a day for the three weeks until our stay. That wouldn’t have bothered me except they continued to request payments before they were due & hassled us about the forms weeks before they were needed. Lastly, your stay will truly be just like being in your own home. Although you’re required to pay the regular cleaning fee, you’ll also be asked to: strip sheets, take out the trash, run the dish washer, wash all the towels your self, bring your own toilet paper, etc. And fingers crossed you don’t forget anything or you’ll be charged a 25$ fee plus the cost of shipping PER item. While we thankfully didn’t forget anything, and haven’t received any crazy charges, I don’t think we’ll be returning. The house was beautiful outside of regular ware & tear, but the management is sketchy and much more expensive if a trip than advertised.

We are a Texas family who have spent years growing up and enjoying the Texas Hill Country. We purchased this property with the intention of creating our many memories with our own children. We enjoy this area so much - we love hiking in the various state parks, tubing the rivers, boating in the crystal blue waters of Canyon Lake, spending time on the lake beach, traveling to historic Gruene for fun outings and ice cream, enjoying the wineries and vineyards of Wimberly and Fredericksburg. Having this home to come back to in the evenings and stare at the star-filled sky with a glass of wine, and waking up to nature sounds with a cup of coffee on the deck is a dream come true. We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do. We hope you can create memories with your own family here.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This property is perfect for us. Originally, we wanted hill country views and some raw land. Our primary home is in the suburbs of Houston so we really wanted to escape and feel nature around us. This home gives us lake views, hill country views, LOTS of nature and a home just the perfect size for us and a few of our freinds with kids or our extended family to enjoy together.
