We were very pleased with the Oasis. It's a beautiful home and the accommodations were well thought out. A perfect spot for my family to come together from North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida.

Needs updates and cleaning

I'd don't mind the house being dated but it needs a major cleaning. Every cabinet / drawer in the kitchen is stuffed full of appliances, dishes, etc. which makes it very hard to find things, put dishes away. The house could use a proper cleaning- there were cobwebs hanging from the dining room chandelier. Additionally, we had issues with feathers coming out of the couches and chairs. The number of feathers was so significant we had to sweep them up mid week.

Worst Rental House Ever

This was, by far, the WORST RENTAL HOUSE we have ever rented. Busted mattresses in several rooms. Broken kitchen cabinets. Broken microwave handle. Crumbs and dirt on all rugs and under every piece of furniture- not to mention the old stains covering every rug in the house. Broken dresser drawers. Spider webs in the ceilings. Plaster/ sheet rock seams showing. The biggest inconvenience is the there is literally NO SHARED POWDER ROOM ON MAIN LEVEL OR IN WHOLE HOUSE. The main level bedroom was clearly meant to be a sitting room and not a bedroom- the light switch is on the outside of the room????? So if someone is staying in that bedroom, the only place to use the restroom is to go back through someone's bedroom. For a full house of guests, this was literally incomprehensible. They clearly never intended for this place to be a rental. Every cabinet is stuffed full of old junk and every couch/ chair in the living room needs to be replaced. When I phoned Peace Life upon our arrival to express concern about the state of the home, the nice lady on the phone said they "had no idea and had never received any complaint about the property before". All I can say is "Wow". Do you really not know what these houses look like???? Do you guys visit these places?? The only positive benefit in this house was the available golf cart and bikes in the garage. The hot tub did work, so that was nice. Almost everything in this house needs replacing. Do not rent this place. I wish we hadn't. We really love DeBordieu so this is not a bad review of the development- just the hose. I rented a different house on Colony Pointe from Tide Life the week prior, at only a slightly higher rate, and that place was literally a PALACE compared to this property. The 5th bedroom on this home is really not a 5th bedroom- because then you have no powder room for your group, not to mention there's no internal light switch. After this experience, I am questioning whether I will ever rent from Peace Life again. I probably won't, if given the choice. Y'all really need to get this property in order. Boom.
