This home is located less than a mile from the famous Ace Hotel, Koffi, Miro's, and the Smoketree Village shopping center to ensure you have easy access to shopping and dining during your stay. Downtown Palm Springs is just under three miles northwest, so you can hop in the car and experience the desert charm of this vibrant city with ease. If you have a few outdoorsy members in your party, they will be delighted to know that trails abound just a couple miles west in Tahquitz Canyon, while Joshua Tree National Park is close enough for a day trip.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Great House! Great Value!

We loved this house! As others have commented, the interior is beautifully decorated, impeccably clean and spacious. The kitchen is very well stocked with just about anything you might need. The location is hard to beat. While the exterior could use a bit of attention and the pool may be older, the pool is heated and well-maintained. You can't go wrong with this house, especially at this price.

Inside and outside contrast

This is a classic Alexander Butterfly house that is what the Twin Palms neighborhood is known for. The inside was spotlessly clean, the furnishings mid-century modern, the baths and kitchen were updated and the Kitchen stocked with everything you would need to cook and meal. But here is the disconnect … the exterior of the house has not been maintained in years. The paint is pealing off, the landscaping is basically non-existant, the pool is really old and in need of refurbishing and the side of the garage/bonus room was full of discarded wooden pallets and cardboard boxes. I know it’s a rental house but people come to Palm Springs for the weather and to be outside. We didn’t want to spend any time at this house. At $6000 for the week I suggest a refresh of the outside might be money well invested.

Great location, ok house

There were several pros of this property: the location, a well stocked kitchen for people who cook, a spacious house, and a nice big pool. However, as other reviews have noted, the house needs some updates — in style and general TLC. We were disappointed that the outdoor furniture in particular seems lacking… Not enough lounge chairs, mismatched and shabby, and nothing in the way of pool toys or floaties or other outdoor amenities. It seems that a house that sleeps six should in theory have proper chairs for six outside by the pool. All that said, we enjoyed ourselves and the neighborhood is gorgeous.

You get what you pay for.

This house is 30% cheaper than most comparable homes in the area. The neighborhood and location are excellent. The house I'd give a C+ overall. It's old and partially remodeled. The kitchen is very nice and adequately equipped. The TV's are big and newish. Little things need to be corrected: 1. The AC turns off at 10 pm and doesn't come back on until morning. 2. No dishtowels in kitchen 3. The pool is old, cold and the ugly big fence around it ruins the view. 4. There are no cushions for outdoors loungers - just hard wood. 5. The floors are refinished with some sort of poly that makes them extremely noisy and slippery. 6. The lighting in the house is crazy and inadequate. There are no overhead lights or easy to reach lamps. We were constantly trying to figure out how to turn on lights at night. 7. The paper towels and toilet paper were rock bottom cheap, thin and scratchy. 8. If you are looking for an economical place, this might suit you fine, for us it was a little too rugged.
