Basement Bungalo
This VRBO basement bungalo was not ready to be rented out. The backyard was under construction with no fence and no notice of this condition until the day of arrival. Lighting at the exterior entry to the basement unit was inadequate and the stairs were a safety concern for the senior citizen in our party. All Windows had no screens due to incomplete renovations.
The beds were rickety, Sheets were placed on mattresses without a mattress cover. One of the box fans supplied was covered in dust and hair. Mattresses were obviously used and saggy. Both bathrooms had only a hand towel and t.p. There were no instructions posted on where to find anything we needed. Bedroom walls had a few dead bugs squished on them. There was zero coffee or tea to enjoy. The photo of waffles looks enticing on the listing, however it was just a box of frozen waffles in the freezer with owners food all around. We left as soon as the sun came up.
We arrived without our pet (initially booking intending to travel with our pet) and have not received a pet fee refund despite verbal assurance of refund and multiple email requests to receive it. The only communication (not generically pre-generated) I actually received was in the 48 hrs leading up to our arrival, and post-stay asking for a review.
No thank you. If you just need a place to crash and pee this is it.
