Hello all! Welcome to the Beauregard. I have only recently acquired this stunning property. I was very fortunate to purchase it furnished with almost all the antiques and reproductions and have only made a few minor additions. Even the name of this
wonderful Victorian, "the Beauregard" is the same ("Beauregard" is actually named after a beloved teddy bear the previous owners cherished, which I also inherited. A portrait of this bear is reproduced on the flag that still waves at the front of the house, and he can be seen "in person" inside, within the antique curio cabinet in the sitting room.) Needless to say, I could not imagine changing the name of this beautiful home! . . . I live locally in Fortuna, only about 8 miles from the Beauregard. I discovered this house in 2019 and fell in love with it. If you love old homes, antiques and reproductions and/or teddy bears, I think you will too!
