Polruan has a general store, post office, bakery, church and two pubs. Blackhall provides superbly comfortable accommodation for six guests, where a holiday requiring relaxation is the order of the day. From here marvel at the panoramic and atmospheric coastal views and venture along the South-West Coast Path, adjacent to the property, showcasing splendid vistas as you walk to the legendary and very pretty village of Polperro, once famed for its links to smuggling and wrecking.
There is a passenger ferry daily to Fowey, where narrow streets, pubs and restaurants snuggle side by side with boutique shops and superb architecture. Stroll down to Readymoney Cove, a delightful beach of golden sand. This area is steeped in history and is swathed in countless shades of turquoise, greens and blues from both woodland and waterside combined.
