Originally part of the main Cheese House Cottage and once used to store the cheese made in the dairy above, The Vault is now a gorgeous little hideaway for two.
Built in the 18th century, The Vault is hidden away in the basement of the Cheese House Cottage and accessed via the original stone steps. This unique guest room offers wonderful reminders of it's history such as the window, which was originally the old coal shoot and the beautiful vaulted ceiling.
Stay in The Vault and enjoy it's modern amenities such as the walk-in raindrop shower and en-suite, screened behind a super stylish bespoke glass partition - whilst the rest of the room is a perfect blend of original features mixed with luxurious furniture & furnishings for the most comfortable stay.
This guest room offers a comfortable king size bed, tea & coffee making facilities with a small fridge.
Guests are very welcome to enjoy the estate gardens & grounds which are home to our resident Alpacas, Sheep, Chickens, Swans and Ducks
